Some good points there, but I'd dispute your final sentence: religious zealots will sign anything, but are so bigoted they'll have forgotten signing it within 5 minutes and carry on where they left off. I know first-hand how obsessed and closed-minded they can be, because one of them has destroyed my son's marriage to her in her neurotic insistence to brainwash their three children into her faith. It's a form of mental illness I'm afraid.

"Some" religious zealots will sign anything --- agreed.

That said some of these religious folks lack the proper "perspective". They are not educated in the basic principles outlined in my post.

They have never thought about what it means to agree with Sharia Law and so they are unaware of the inherent contradiction between their belief (there is no compulsion in Islam) and their actions (forcing people to abide by Islamic Law through physical violence)

This is not just about educating Muslims. This is about educating everyone.

There will still be Muslims who will remain Islamist's. This is not justification for not doing something that will enlighten a few of them.

Education in such principles also helps to streamline our own system.
We have Islamic religious leaders preaching this hateful ideology in mosques and schools.

The principles I outlined should be taught to "all school children" - which includes Muslim children. How is this a bad thing ? Given them the tools to help themselves and the people around them (including their parents).

Blacks, Chinese, Indian's ... and so on - all manage to integrate into society. A Chinese girl raised here from childhood is an American - who will often marry a white man. The adopt our culture and values despite having Chinese parents.

Muslims ? - not so much.

Part of the problem is that social engineering is "Politically incorrect". Why should immigration not be easier for people from countries that share our values ? This does not mean we do not let any immigrants from these "good for nothing" countries but, look at the problems it causes.

Gangs of people putting on jackets "Sharia Law" and harassing people ? They should be rounded up immediately and put into "re-education camps".

    Why not ?

China , and rightfully so, doesn't want religious superstition infesting their people . they understand counties that focus on education and science will control their own future
Christian churches in china are under government control and monitored , china is just getting out ahead of the curve with Islam

I agree that China is ahead of the curve w/r to Islam.

You are a bit off the mark with your "superstition" comment. China does not care so much about religious superstition as it is concerned with sophisticated mind/social control techniques. (especially if these conflict with their own "social control" techniques.

Religions such as Islam and Christianity use sophisticated mind control techniques to keep their adherents ... adhering :)

Excellent. And I'll say it again - religions are the curse of humankind.

Like some others noted here, the tendency to declare 'Allah Akubar' and maim innocents, might just be some of the things. The idea of converting to Islam, paying the Giza or dying is another uncomfortable idea lol.

Islam is just one of the religions China goes after. It is not normal to just wake up one morning and decide to strap explosives to one's body and kill yourself and a bunch of people on the belief that this will better one's position in the afterlife.

By the time if gets to the "Allah Akbar" point - a whole lot of other things have happened to get this person to this place.

I post a fair bit on this in this thread.
