Unbelievable. You cannot tell me that if two white teens with racial tweets would escape a hate crime charge after shooting a black man in the back killing him. We should just scrap these HC laws, if the criminal justice system will only use them on whites in high profile cases.
You really can only go after what you can prove. We know it was a thrill kill, but there is little evidence if they'd seen another Black Hispanic or Asian, they would not have ended up being the victim instead
Interracial murder statistics, and murder statistics in general, reflect poorly on blacks. Hate Crime statistics are helpful in balancing out that perspective.
When Edwards gets out i suggest he avoids going to Australia just saying... I dont think they will find it funny that he is having a great time of this.
I agree in that, if there's no concrete way to enforce HC laws, then they should be done away with... Or only prosecuted as such in the face of blatant evidence...
