Is it ok to propose a budget that furthers one's political agenda?

Is it OK to propose an education or environment change that furthers one's political agenda?

Is there ANYTHING that is OK to do EVEN THOUGH it promotes a political agenda???

I mean WHAT IS a political agenda????

So far, we've acted on the premise that wholesale slaughter of American citizens is a reason to NOT DO ANYTHING!!!

Is wholesale slaughter of American civilians a reason for doing NOTHING???

Sorry. I just think this is profoundly STUPID.

When we see a problem, we should look for good ideas and DO THEM.

The courts determined that his idea was no more than an expression of his bigotry.

The collective Left always does this crap with every shooting. "It's a conservative mad man!" they HOWL . . . and then gradually it gets revealed -- by journalists doing the real work after the fact -- that the mad man is as much a leftist in his motivations and habits as he is Right of Center . . . and then the same formerly HOWLING leftists suddenly engage in a collective "look it's a squirrel," moment and then rush off to the next tragedy that they can try pinning on the Right.

Using a tragedy like this to promote one's political agenda is nasty. Budgets on the other hand are supposed to further a political agenda. If you don't know what a political agenda is go to your library and pick out some books on political science and return to this conversation when you've educated yourself. Everyone here has a political agenda of some sort, those who pretend otherwise are either lying or ignorant. For every person killed by a gun in this country a thousand die from household accidents not involving guns that's whole sale slaughter. You could do more to end gun deaths in this country by improving mental health care and by more heavily publicizing defensive gun usage. Than adding more gun laws that no one is enforcing. By the way this particular tragedy happened in New Zealand. There is no NRA there and there are strict gun control laws far stricter than here and thet didn't stop a damn thing they just insured that the crazy would have plenty of time in which to maximize the carnage.

The discovery for the lawsuit will be as much fun as trying to make sense of a Trump speech.

Which was an insane conclusion and utterly self serving not to mention a likely guarantor of more tragedies.

Apparently you haven't read anything but what was spoon fed you by the political agenda driven leftist media. When you look at his MANY statements it becomes apparent that the lunatic was all over the political landscape in his beliefs . . . including the far and radical . . . Left.

Are you done pearl clutching? Good. To the murderers, the actions were irrelevant. Its the group they singled out and while I don't condone these horrific acts of hate, I'm rational enough to know why its happening. The social conflict between our societies. This is the same situation Jews/Palestinians find themselves in. And while we hope for peace, many actors on both sides(Triggered ya) want the complete annihilation of the other.

Don't blame this massacre on Trump. In his manifesto, the killer said his ideal form of government was the People's Republic of China.

He also said conservatives were "corporatists", and he hoped his murders will allow the American left to eradicate our second amendment.

This can't be pinned on Trump. This guy was a hardened leftist.

Name ONE other serious situation where we view it that way.

His aim, he said, was to defend “our lands” from “invaders,” to “reduce immigration rates” and to deepen division and start a civil war in the United States.
    -----------------------
Yet Tarrant declared himself a “racist” and “ethno-nationalist eco-fascist” in his manifesto, a compendium of slogans, poems and diatribes against immigrants, Muslims, Jews and religious converts. He said Communist China was the nation with “political and social values” closest to his.
    ----------------------------------
Tarrant, who described himself as “a regular white man, from a regular family,” said he did not hate foreigners or Muslims who lived in their “homelands.”

    ---------------------------------

But he said immigrants were “invaders . . . who colonize other peoples lands.”

    -------------------------------
Tarrant, who according to London’s Independent newspaper met with right-wing extremists during a visit to Europe in 2017, declared allegiance to a group he called Europeans.
    ---------------------------------
Tarrant claimed he contacted an anti-immigration group called the reborn Knights Templar and got a blessing for the attack from Breivik, a right-wing extremist who killed 77 people in Oslo and a nearby island in 2011.

The statements by these perps is EXACTLY what Trump says.

Suggesting it is the fault of the victims is just too stupid for words.

And, this situation has NO correlation to what is happening in West Bank. In West Bank, Israel is using the power of its military to steal land from Palestinians - bull dozing their homes and driving them away.

America went to WAR for far less provocation, and our declaration of independence is a clear statement of why.

They were Muslims. But, that had nothing to do with Islam.

he perps said the victims were shot because they were there, not in "their own land" - clearly identifying that they are ignorant of pretty much all aspects of citizenship.

Countries are pieces of land that don't have religious beliefs

The fact is that human beings and bigots will never live in complete peace together.

And in "bigots" I include those who believe that countries have some sort of preset religion

What NZ lacks is a register of guns After yesterday that will change. Kiwis are like Aussies. We don’t just sit back and offer “ thoughts and prayers” we ACT and look to ways to stop this happening again
