The ruling does indeed give closely held for profit companies the right to not provide any contraception in it's health care plan, it also gives them the right to not fund viagra or cialis for it's male employees. But I doubt that will happen.

the HL ruling plays very well to the GOP base. there is no doubt of that. at issue will be how it plays to those folks outside the base, and that will depend, in large part, on how the two parties chose to use and characterize the ruling. Methinks that the ruling will NOT play well outside of the GOP base, and, based upon demographic trends, that base, as a percentage of the voting public, keeps getting smaller and smaller. SO.... either the GOP needs to rally every single member in their base AND find a way to broaden their outreach, or they will suffer the same fate in national elections as they did the last two. Clearly, given the terrible economy, one would have thought that Obama was destined to be a one term president. Mitt Romney was THAT bad of a candidate, but he was THE BEST that the GOP primary process could produce. As terrible as the GOP had tried to paint Obama, as terrible as the economy was, with the GOP having the opportunity to field a crop of "best and brightest" candidates, and Mitt "magic underwear" Romney was the best they could come up with. And now they want to blame anyone but themselves for snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. I have no desire to research the healthcare plan of a Christian company that sells scrapbooking stuff. get real. My wife is a retired health care professional and she is well aware that most health care plans routinely cover ED medication. Most women are aware of that. When the SCOTUS ruling in the HL case is spun well, it will whip those ladies to a veritable lather! Just like it will whip the GOP red meat base to the same lather. The problem for Y'ALL is that there are more women than there are religious pro life white guys. Tough to deny that.
