Actually, Itchy Jim said it last July (see Post #108 ).

Why then? The interview was in response to Trump's attacks on Obama for failing to prevent and halt the Russian meddling/interference that Democrats were trying to scapegoat for the consequences of their own bad ideas, bad policies and bad candidates (the 2016 faceplant). What we know is that Clapper defended Obama from Trump's attack, but what we don't know is if Itchy Jim inadvertently or deliberately blew Obama's cover in the process of defending him. Either way, Clapper just confirmed what everyone already knew - Obama orchestrated the whole thing.

 

Let's not give those Keystone Cops more credit than they're due. The bumbling and loose lips of more than one of them is what has removed any doubt of Obama's complicity in this whole sordid affair.

What all of this illustrates, objectively, is that heads of intel habitually lie, to congress, to the press and to the american people, and that our system, both parties, are so unAmerican and corrupt, to allow it to go on, with none of these intel heads ever being held accountable, which sends a clear message to the next intel heads.

This is what should weigh heavily within the heads of americans, both parties, and yet they are apparently not at all concerned. What many of us are concerned with is superficial, but emotionally charged, appealing to our stupid tribalism, as the Republic flames out. And yet when someone like Princeton does a study, using congressional record, that evidences we live in a fake Republic, so few americans are troubled by it, and certainly not concerned.

Yes, by and large, for several reasons, America is chock full of nuts and American idiots. We call them republicans and democrats. It could be that those americans who just do not bother to vote are the only ones who realize what reality that they live in, and that voting solves nothing of the actual problems with America. So they have given up.

Our media helps to insure that the status quo remains entrenched, by appealing to the stupidity and the most base side of human nature. Only political driven, partisan driven investigative reporting is done these days, and to this day the MSM refuses to acknowledge the lies that have come from our intel agencies, that support an agenda that insures we wage perpetual war for perpetual peace, break international law our more intelligent ancestors helped to write, post ww2, as America is weakened, to its core, by global capitalism that places max profits above even the health of a nation and her people. The interests of our elites, our capitalists trump all things when it comes to US foreign policy, and domestic policy,. making us the United States of Max Profit Capitalism, and where our national interests are one and the same with the interest of a most harmful neoliberal capitalism, where an economic model does not have to serve the best interests of the majority of the american people, nor the nation, but only the profits of those at the top. Just as communism and socialism, serves the interests of those few at the top in those systems. This has always been a problem, and a danger. And it is what happens when the worst side of human nature is allowed to corrupt anything that it can get its dirty little hands on. That not enough of us are intelligent enough to realize what should be self evident insures that history may not repeat, but it sure as hell will rhyme.
