He may be brilliant — I have never read any of his briefs so I cannot personally attest one way or another — but he is definitely insane if he truly believes that people — even if they are misguided by some people’s opinion — attempting to help others by making sure there is less food, housing or income insecurity are a bigger threat than a group that use to bind peoples legs and drag them behind vehicles until their skin flayed off.

Why is it insane to point out that the road to hell is paved with good intentions?

Thomas Sowell has written about this for decades, so has Walter Williams.

Sowell also came from extreme poverty, became a Marxist, and went on to be a leading Conservative mind.

Both-as well as how he was treated by "liberals" during his confirmation.

It isn’t, it is insane however to say those good intentions are worse than people that tortured, maimed, and murdered black people for sport.

The klan is not a major problem for blacks in the present day.

In fact there seem to be more hoax crimes than anything.

Meanwhile poverty, unemployment, gang violence, and the dissolution of the black family is only getting worse.

    He's right you know.

    So what?

He was STILL Confirmed by a Democratic-Led Senate.

The Senate voted 52–48 on October 15, 1991, to confirm Thomas as an associate justice of the Supreme Court. In all, Thomas won with the support of 41 Republicans and 11 Democrats, while 46 Democrats and 2 Republicans voted to reject his nomination.

If Thomas had been nominated today (in the Toxic Precedent set by McConnell's GOP) he wouldn't have had a prayer of being confirmed.

    ^So, there's that. :salute:

So they smeared him for being the wrong black guy-so he had to be destroyed.

People don't forget AJ, and sometimes they go on to serve for decades on SCOTUS.

The absurdity of this post is hilarious. Thanks for the laughs.

Blacks in America have backed Democrats since Lyndon Johnson. A mental illness would be to continue to do so, and expect anything more than the failed results the Democrats have delivered. Democrat agenda is poison to Black Americans.

Why did the Founding Fathers INCLUDE the AMENDMENT PROCESS if the Constitution was never meant to be changed?

Why did the Founding Fathers AMEND the Constitution with the Bill of Rights?

Only a fool like Clarence Thomas believes utter the utter nonsense that the Constitution was never meant to be changed. If it was never changed then he would still be a SLAVE working in some cotton field in Georgia. That is a very special kind of stupidity which DISQUALIFIES Thomas as a SCOTUS Justice IMO.

The Constitution can be amended through the correct process. But judges shouldn’t reinterpret it and give us extra-Constitutional rulings because they don’t want to wait for the amendment process to be complete.

He follows the Constitution. If you don’t like his rulings, change the Constitution.

Black Americans have always been a primary target of the DP's institutional racist hate, but after the Civil War the top priority of racist Democrats was to use terroristic violence, especially lynching, overthrow the elected Republican governments in the South. White Republican were also targeted to achieve that result, but they were harder to identify. The DP quickly ended democracy in the South and rigged all future elections for racist Democrats by suppressing the decisive black Republican vote.

"On this date in 1875, The Mississippi Plan went into effect. Their state government was trying to prevent Black political participation using this Strategy.

The Plan was devised by the white-American Democratic Party to violently overthrow the Republican Party by organized violence in order to redeem the state of Mississippi. The Mississippi Plan was also adopted by Democrats in South Carolina and Louisiana."

Thanks to Republicans he is a Supreme Court justice in spite an attempt by the racist DP to stage a high tech MSM lynching to keep him off the court.

The DP remains the party of institutional racism in America. That's one reason why so many ordinary American Democrats are leaving the DP.
