Date: October 25, 2014 Source: Rutgers University I'm no scientists but this seems to make a whole lot of sense to me. Why have we centered on atmospheric change and not this? Is it because Man can be accused of polluting the atmosphere and not the oceans? Just asking. Summary: Read the full piece @ http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2014/10/141025152717.htm
Anthropogenic warming if you ever calculate the energy balance are pretty small compared to the solar changes since 1700. The oceans absorb somewhere arounf 50% of the changes and hold that extra energy for a very long time, slowly warming over decades. The atmosphere can only have a minor effect for ocean warming.
One thing I noticed is that the lines on the map have absolutely no correlation to actual ocean currents!
