We, "few incorrigible ideologues" are NOT going to do ANY of the things that eco-doomsayers claim absolutely MUST be done NOW to prevent eco-doom. So, given that, what is your earliest estimation of exactly when eco-doomsday will be upon us?

 

Seems like a very simple question that any proponent of ACGCC should know. I am not a proponent of ACGCC exactly because none of the proponents, that I have encountered, can answer the most basic questions like when is this all supposed to happen. When will beachfront property go down in value? When will Martha's Vineyard, Miami Beach and Manhattan be evacuated?

When matters. Then sun is going to go out some day. The sea levels will rise someday. When matters.
Are we talking about decades, generations or centuries? Because, right now, it seems to be happening at about half the speed of evolution. If you can't answer the very first question - WHEN? - why should we believe that it's anymore of a threat than the sun going out? When matters; it really does.

 

I have around twenty thousand mature trees on my property. Not room to plant anymore. That should cover me.

If they were really concerned about CO2, they would not just do carbon offsets. They would go beyond that. They should be trying to cover for other people who cannot afford to do all the carbon offsets.
