i live on the nj shore, and if werent for the beach restoration efforts, much of the beach front would no longer be there.

I have advocated that for a long while. All the hoaxers and believers in the hoax should show us that they are actually concerned about the planet by altering their own personal, individual, personal lifestyles. Walk or bicycle or take public transportation to work or wherever. Live in much, much, much smaller quarters (If you own a 2000 sf house, move you and your family into a 600 sf apartment.

Take, say, half your income and devote it to "green" energy solutions like buying solar panels for poor people's houses.

Al Gore and all the Hollywood hoax believers can sell two of their three houses, fly coach instead of private plane. C'mon guys, Jane Fonda and Tom Hayden lived in a commune for a while during Jane's crazy days in the 60's before she married an evil billionaire. You can do it too. Make it a luxurious commune, but a commune still.

Stop hectoring us into giving up all our money and control over our lives to solve a problem promoted by the hoaxers. Show us instead, hoaxers.

Great article and thanks. However, what it does point out is that the chemical and warming both have serious effects, warming is planet-wide so I'd expect the effects of warming to be far more harmful right now than sunscreen.

They've been restoring the beaches along the NJ shore for decades. It's a natural phenomenon called "erosion". The problem with GWNJ's is that they never look at historical records, rather they depend on emotion and hyperbole.

I looked into "global warming" when I was a young buck, but I noticed that just 1 volcano produces as much CO2 as mankind in its entire existence.

This is the problem. Get your science from scientists and you will see overwhelming evidence for AGW. But when you get your science from "news reports" what you get is often wrong.

 

When a large volcano goes off, the planet feels it. If we go by the data you suggest, humanity is like having 2 MT St. Helen going off a day. Earth would look like Venus. You are wrong.

all right bra, I'll do some math 4-u. Humans = 29 billion tons per year. Your same stats say volcanoes make 65-319 million. Now divide 29 billion by like 319 million. That’s how many times more volcanoes are going off a year because of mankind.
