4 generations, 8 generations, 20 or 100, it doesn't matter to me, i'll be dead and my house will deteriorate, we have bigger problems that need to be addressed, IMO we'll probably fark everything up with nukes or major wars or plague or if we're lucky overpopulation long before we have a serious sea level problem. Marshall Islands excluded of course but I don't care about them, or any village or population base that is sitting at or near sea level.

I think Trump has the correct change not to need the Federal Flood insurance program.

It would be stupid and a waste of tax-payer money to use Eminent Domain. Better to let property owners abandon the property and then the local governments can claim it for free using Adverse Possession.

Sea level rise, of course, is accelerating, and will continue to do so. The tidal gauges show it, the satellites measurements show it. The acceleration is modest, but definitely there, and it's going to grow. The laws of physics will not be denied.

Paying a private company for a superb service we now get for free would seem to be the direct opposite of "better service".

Please tell us more about your plan. Will those private companies be launching their own weather satellites, or will they be mooching off the government for that?

God knows Elon Musk already does that.

    Elon Musk builds weather satellites?

So, how will the private sector make a profit here? By declaring that all weather data is proprietary and must be paid for?

Did I say that? You know very well I was referring to him mooching..last I read 80% of his space program is financed by NASA.

Were you influenced by the accuracy of Dr. George per my unedited upload you edited?
    Let's start there.
With the same information he was more accurate than those who just read the gov't forecast.

Tax money already paid for those weather satellites and their product should be public property. If someone launches a private satellite, the product is private property.
    Fair enough?

I don't know what the problem is according to this video it would happen either way that all the ice on Earth is melting either in 5,000 years or 10,000 years.

Say goodbye to the entire state of Florida

If Miami is being swallowed up, that is a local problem for Miami to deal with.

Obvously no, being how that video presented no evidence about the accuracy of Dr. George.

Do you have any evidence to support that claim? Your video showed no such evidence. It just showed Dr. George making a daily forecast.

Well, nobody is stopping a theoretical private weather satellites, so anyone who wants to launch one is welcome to do so. However, I don't think you'll see anyone deciding to make a business of it. They'd much rather bribe a few conservative congressmen to declare that the taxpayer-financed data now belongs to a private company, so that the public has to pay twice for it.

Some of us from the Southern California area remember the Dr. George years.
He often recited the gov't forecast & his forecast
The next day or two, we got a dose of who was correct.
    Is living it evidence.

    If Anyone Remembers Dr. George,
    please chime in for mamooth.

So Florida is sinking, and New Jersey and Long Island are rising. Wow! Is North America tilting downwards?

The Earth expands, so the sea levels are getting lower....

When running the International Commission on Sea Level Change, he launched a special project on the Maldives, whose leaders have for 20 years been calling for vast sums of international aid to stave off disaster. Six times he and his expert team visited the islands, to confirm that the sea has not risen for half a century. Before announcing his findings, he offered to show the inhabitants a film explaining why they had nothing to worry about. The government refused to let it be shown.

Similarly in Tuvalu, where local leaders have been calling for the inhabitants to be evacuated for 20 years, the sea has if anything dropped in recent decades. The only evidence the scaremongers can cite is based on the fact that extracting groundwater for pineapple growing has allowed seawater to seep in to replace it. Meanwhile, Venice has been sinking rather than the Adriatic rising, says Dr Mörner.

With the collapse of the Oceanic Thermal Conveyor system, we get an Ice Age.
A cold zone in the north Atlantic is expanding. Can an Ice Age be far off?
This scenario was depicted in the movie 2012
Now here it is in real life.
    https://www.yahoo.com/news/m/fc6f9d5c-1973-3dbb-926e-8b03105d43d5/ss_global-ocean-circulation.html
Global Ocean Circulation Appears To Be Collapsing
    Due To A Warming Planet

This cool zone in the North Atlantic Ocean appears to be associated with a slowdown in the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation (AMOC), one of the key drivers in global ocean circulation.

With the Ice Age, sea levels will drop.
Miami will be saved although one may need a jacket more regularly.

We cannot have all of those idiots up north flooding into the south when the ice is a mile thick up north. We need to build a wall to keep them out. Let em all learn how to ice skate. Then they will wish to hell warming and sea level rise was their only worry.

Africa is a huge continent. I say we ship the whole lot of them off to Africa.

Hell they don't even know what creates cyclical ice ages, or what ends them. But boy they sure know that it is only co2 that is warming up the planet, even when we are naturally warming out of the last ice age. Which will be over when there is no artic ice. Imagine that. We lose the ice cap, even if man were not here. LOL

Can you tell us more about your "expanding earth" theory? I only ask because it sounds completely insane.

Your link was based on Mörner's crazy claims, and he's an open fraud. Denying sea level rise is on par with denying the round earth theory, which is why only the most brainwashed religious cultists or the most brazen paid frauds will now attempt to do so.

Do what Thailand does and plant mangrove trees, they help reclaim land and filter the fresh water going into the ocean...This is why Thailand has some of the most breathtaking coral reefs in the world.

    Quit squawking and do something.
