Why not? What’s wrong with her telling a story? And of course it had EVERYTHING to do with her. He responded to HER story saying Only in America. As in only in America can you shoot someone trying to hurt or kill you, as if that’s a bad thing. It’s a VERY good thing.

If hes saying its a good thing that a mother can defend herself and her kids in America, and people in other places should be able to as well, then he's a hypocrite for all the times he's bitched about our gun rights.

If he's saying its a bad thing that a mother can defend herself and her kids in America, and they should instead be helpless victims waiting to become unlucky like folks who live in places where gun rights have been taken, then he's an A hole.

But you haven't really explained what he meant? You just claimed he wasn't actually referring to what she said, which would be odd, considering he responded to the video. It was a snarky comment, like saying "Merica", which implies, stupid Americans. You're making excuses instead of being logical and HONEST. You know EXACTLY what he meant, but you're being so partisan, you're blind. If he didn't mean what he said, he wouldn't have apologized. Thats the proof. THAT means we interpreted it as exactly as he did, and it was obviously wrong. He knew it. We knew it. EVERYONE knows it. Just be honest. If you go back to my original post, I provided my thoughts. In my response to you, I suggested that I 'suspected' what Cuomo meant - but I have no way to know for sure (hence the term suspected).

If you want my HONEST thoughts, I believe that the comment 'only in america' referred to the fact that the NRA used a rape victim for their 'ad'. And they showed her as smiling and strong because of her gun. You wouldn't find that kind of ad in other countries - hence, only in America.

You can call me a liar or dishonest all day long - won't change my view.

Correct, but you have to take that further. "Only in America" can you defend yourself with said gun. Also, "Only in America..." do Democrats use suicides as evidence of gun violence and murder.
