    Nope. https://www.politifact.com/factchec...entific-basis-claims-ivermectins-success-utt/

    IF YOUR TIME IS SHORT
    • Recorded cases of COVID-19 in Uttar Pradesh, India have fallen, but there is no consensus about why. There has also been questions about data collection in India.
    • There is not conclusive scientific evidence using a randomized controlled study that shows that ivermectin caused cases to fall in Uttar Pradesh.
    • India's national health authorities have recommended against using ivermectin to manage COVID-19 outside of clinical trials.

Politifact is summarily dismissed. You cannot use Politifact as a source with me.

Ivermectin has been effective in those countries. Sources: Their ivermectin usage and their effectively-zero covid rates since implementing its usage.

I gave you a "counter argument", the FDA isn't man not be perfect but, they ARE authoritative. And just because you haven't backed up your opinion doesn't mean it hasn't been influenced or that you can't be wrong; which you are.

Not the issue at hand... please follow along...

The issue at hand is solely copy/pasting FDA propaganda without offering anything else. That is NOT thinking for oneself... If one agrees with the FDA, then one would be able to express their agreement with the FDA without copy/pasting what the FDA has to say about the matter.

Information from the FDA is, by the nature of the FDA being AUTHORITATIVE on drugs and their use in the USA, IS NOT PROPAGANDA. <-period

Because "you" (singular) don't accept the FDA's information makes you at odds with the vast majority (MANY, MANY, MANY) Americans. IF, I copy and pasted the spelling and definition of a word, it wouldn't be wrong, it would BE the spelling and definition of that word. FDA information is NO different.

The FDA is not an authority over science. Remember what this discussion is about. You're attempting to take it elsewhere.

WRONG. First off, you don't speak for "the vast majority of Americans"... you can only speak for yourself. Secondly, the FDA is not "the vast majority of Americans"; they are simply the FDA.

If what you copy/pasted was incorrect, then it would be incorrect. --- That's what happens when you allow others to do your thinking for you.

If you copied from Oxford, for example, then it would simply be Oxford's spelling and definition of that word. It wouldn't be THE spelling/definition of that word.

Exactly. It would simply be the FDA's information... it would not be science.

If it worked well why would people all over the world deny that it did?

Can anybody tell me why anyone would listen to Joe Rogan on any subject whatsoever? AFAICT his "credentials" as any sort of authority on any sort of subject are about the same as mine or anyone else on this board. And cons then take his word over some of the most knowledgeable doctors there are?

The claim was "Joe Rogan takes horse dewormer"

Not "Joe Rogan takes experimental treatment normally used to cure ringworms"..

The implication was obviously Joe takes medication for horses. We all know that. Its was a lie and I wish Joe would sue.

The ivermectin for humans he showed Gupta was given to him by a friend. Its not the ivermectin he took which was prescribed by a doctor.

Red Covid Covid’s partisan pattern is growing more extreme.

During the early months of Covid-19 vaccinations, several major demographic groups lagged in receiving shots, including Black Americans, Latino Americans and Republican voters.

More recently, the racial gaps — while still existing — have narrowed. The partisan gap, however, continues to be enormous. A Pew Research Center poll last month found that 86 percent of Democratic voters had received at least one shot, compared with 60 percent of Republican voters.

The political divide over vaccinations is so large that almost every reliably blue state now has a higher vaccination rate than almost every reliably red state.

Because the vaccines are so effective at preventing serious illness, Covid deaths are also showing a partisan pattern. Covid is still a national crisis, but the worst forms of it are increasingly concentrated in red America.

I am not a doctor or scientist, I have no idea if ivermectin is effective for treating covid, but here is what I know:
ivermectin was prescribed to Rogan by a medical doctor - I am assuming that a medical doctor can distinguish between a horse and a humane.
ivermectin is a horse medicine the same way as penicillin is a chicken medicine.
Dr. Gupta agreed with Rogan that ivermectin is effective with virus infections, hundred millions of people are taking this medicine and that CNN should not say that Rogan took 'horse medicine'.
When Rogan asked dr. Gupta why CNN said he took 'horse medicine' - dr, Gupta said - 'I don't know'.
So the real question is not if the ivermectin is effective for treating covid, but why CNN said Rogan took a 'horse medicine'. Stupidity, CNN is afraid of the competition or maybe it is a policy to scare people so they will take Pfizer, Moderna or other corporations vaccine?
I still think CNN is better than Fox News or OAN, but the difference is shrinking, not because the FOX News or OAN are getting better.
