Do you have proof Halper set up the meeting where he got drunk and admitted everything? Because the article says it was an Israeli official who did that. Also according to mitch's article, that meeting happened months before Halper contacted Papadopoulos. I think you either need to work on your timeline or research more about what entrapment is.

Go read the article. It says Halper contacted Papadopoulos in September 2016. Also according to that article, Papadopoulos was contacted by the person I'm talking about in April 2016 and the meeting that got him in trouble was in May 2016. Are Trumpeters so desperate to try to fake some sort of entrapment here that they are willing to stoop to proposing time travel?

I can see why you guys are getting confused, because the article talks about the events out of sequence. It starts with something that happened in September and then talks about things that happened in April and May of the same year. I've bolded the dates and events below.

So to recap, here is the chronological order of events according to your article:

April 2016 - Mifsud contacts Papadopoulos and tells him about the Clinton-related emails. P later meets with Mifsud.
May 2016 - An Israeli embassy official (not Mifsud and not Halper) introduces Papadopoulos to Downer. Papadopoulos gets drunk and reveals the intel. Downer turns him in to the FBI.
Sept 2016 - Halper reaches out to Papadopoulos via email and asks if he knows about the emails. Papadopoulos lies and says he doesn't. Halper hires him to do some other work.
Oct 2016 - Papadopoulos completes his work for Halper.

Now, what was that you were saying about this all starting with some sort of FBI entrapment?

If you have facts to the contrary, please produce them. I'm interested in reality. Reality says the investigation started because a member of the Trump campaign was attempting to collude with the Russians, got drunk, and blabbed about it to someone who reported him to the FBI. So far the only "evidence" offered by you guys involves time travel -- you guys are claiming that someone he didn't meet until September was secretly working for the FBI and hopped in a time machine to April/May of the same year to somehow make him attend that meeting, make him get drunk, and make him blab, probably through the use of the same science fiction technology I guess.

 

And, John Brennan is a liar and Clapper is nothing but a democratic tool. Both of them should be indicted.
