Syria to allow inspectors to site of suspected chemical weapons attack

By Frederik Pleitgen, Hamdi Alkhshali and Josh Levs, CNN

updated 12:31 PM EDT, Sun August 25, 2013

in Syria began to flare in March 2011 and have escalated into an ongoing civil war

But a senior U.S. official called it too little, too late.

"If the Syrian government had nothing to hide and wanted to prove to the world that it had not used chemical weapons in this incident, it would have ceased its attacks on the area and granted immediate access to the UN -- five days ago," a senior official in the Obama administration said Sunday.

And two key members of U.S. congressional foreign affairs panels said Sunday they expect the United States to strike Syria following reports of chemical weapons attacks in that country

    Is this 'World News'?

Russian and Iranian officials said they supported the Syrian government's handling of the matter

    Is the true?

What is the 'to do' in response?

Okay, so the US is going to blast Assad and his guys into hell in the next few days? We can't let the rebels win, either. Maybe France can take control of the country again and restore order?

No, no, wait, they'll find another excuse to bomb legitimate government or support global jihad in another way like giving "rebels" more weapons.

    Here you go.

Hague warns Syria evidence may be 'compromised'
Foreign Secretary William Hague has said the evidence to prove the Assad regime carried out a chemical attack on Syrian civilians may have been destroyed in the days since.

Mr Hague said tomorrow's UN inspection of the Damascus site, five days after the alleged attack, may find a "compromised" area.

See, little puddle is already into "we have no proof for that, but going to blame anyway".

Units of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) have found Saudi-made containers in the countryside of the Syrian capital, Damascus. These Saudi-made containers were used in the production of chemical gases by the foreign-backed terrorist groups, according to the statements of an official from the Syrian military.

In addition, the national Syrian TV channel has already broadcasted the pictures of these Saudi-made containers of materials that have been used by the terrorists to produce chemical gases (sarin nerve gas?) in the region of the capital, Damascus.

The soldiers of the Syrian Army have found these Saudi-made chemical containers in a warehouse of the foreign-backed terrorists in Jobar yesterday. After units of the Syrian Army have encircled an area in Jobar, filled with armed terrorists, on Saturday, the soldiers of the national Syrian army discovered these Saudi-made containers, which were already shown on the Syria TV channel.

The Syrian soldiers further found several chemical agents in tunnels near this location in the north-eastern suburb Jobar, which is near the capital Damascus – according to the pictures and statements by the Syrian TV.

I wouldn't put much stock in CNN's coverage. I turned it on for a minute earlier, and saw a bunch of former AIPAC lobbyists, including Wolf Blitzer, beating the war drums.

Do you have any proof of this from a reliable source?

Just by watching the interview on CNN, talking about the "unsecured' phone call with Obama. I smelled a rat.

    So i did some homework.

    Dam i hate liars.

American must not go to war based on the lies of sobs like this man. I am running the blanket that what i witnessed by this congressman is treason to America. Misrepresenting truth by our political leaders, is against America.
