It wasn't an assault...it was a battery by Acosta on the young female intern. The GOP had their biggest lost since Watergate...not the biggest ever, as far as overall seats lost. The biggest swing would be the Obama years of over a 1000 seats lost. With that said, as far as the Federal Govt goes, it wasn't' that big of upset...in fact they gained seats...which is unheard of in modern mid-term elections...and really only lost 11 seats in the House since the others were merely Dems winning Dem seats
