Did he? I think you just believe in it, so this is hard for you. I don't think he lied to anyone, but was faced with an adversarial prosecution based on trumped up political implications for it's prosecution. And faced with it, did the honorable thing and accepted a verdict of guilty so as to make it go away and not be disruptive to his personal life, or the national discussion.

Mueller is going to regret he went forward with this. The judge still hasn't agreed to sentencing. It suggests they are still trying to unravel the prosecutorial misconduct of Mueller. I hope this doesn't take too long. Nice to have this all wrapped up by say, October of next year...

Did Flynn believe he was not guilty? Did he think he was entrapped by the FBI when they interviewed him without a defense attorney present? Had Mueller's team considered charging Flynn with other crimes, including treason?
Flynn and the lawyers' answers to all of these questions were no.

Why are we relitigating Flynn? He lied ... fine. The point I made, and I suppose what set off the Flynn debate, was that the FBI's favorite conspiracy theorist got a big fat paycheck for claiming Flynn was a traitor in 2014. Halper tried, perhaps succeeded in cashing in again in 2015 when he claimed a banquet held in Moscow where Flynn & Jill Stein were seated next to Putin, proved Flynn was working for the Kremlin. Halper was paid million$ to send US intel agencies on multi million dollar counter intel wild goose hunts, and that's just during Obama's 2nd term. I think Halper had an axe to grind with Flynn, and it probably had to do with Halper's stream od DoD income.
