Except for the fact it is against the law to leak to the press about an ongoing investigation and Comey told Congress the Trump was under investigation by the FBI and Comey’s memos were leaked during that time and are evidence in the investigation.

 

What’s left to investigate? I’m being told it’s open and shut.

 

The fbi Director is authorized to make such a disclosure. So was McCabe.

 

The question is more on what basis do you deem them a criminal offense.

Again if he didnt share classified info as a private citizen this simply isnt criminal. Its not becaus he had a conversation with trump that suddenly this becomes classified and bringing it to the public is leaking.



Strange to see how siddenly because comey is labeled an "enemy" there is no trace about "freedom of speech" or the narrative used for wikileaks "all info no matter how it was obtained needs to be shared" .

Its too bad trump once more looked like a total idiot, so far making trump look like an idiot isnt a criminal offense (if it was trump would have long locked away tbh)
