The difference between the left and the right when it comes to sin is that the right KNOWS people are sinful and aren't the least bit surprised when someone is exposed as being sinful. The left thinks people are basically good and so are surprised every freaking time someone does something sinful. The right don't need to come out and condemn someone for being sinful because they condemn sin every single day. The left, on the other hand, always want to blame something outside of the person for their sin, whether it be guns, religion, or culture. I never understand the left's joy at presenting the right with someone who is right-leaning who has been exposed as sinful as a kind of gotcha, "A-ha, here's someone from your side who is bad!" Our reaction is always, "Yeah, and?" We aren't surprised, and we don't take collective responsibility, so we don't feel guilty.

What the hell does George W. Bush have to do with Christianity or being Christian? He's not even a preacher, much less a major head of the church. Major Islamic imams defend and promote terrorism, pedophilia, sexual slavery, torture, beheading, and the subjugation and beating of women daily, but no Muslims leave the faith for it, but you want Christians to leave the church because Bush started a war with people who attacked the US. That makes zero sense. And how is a president of the US being a traitor when he attacks enemies of the US? Barack Obama sent $400 billion to Iran, an avowed enemy of the US. THAT's a traitor. That's giving aid and comfort to the enemy of this country.

Ummm....sort of. The Christian bible does not advocate for the abuse of children, does the Qu'ran? I am not well read in the Qu'ran, but there seem to be many source that indicate it does. There are also sources that indicate it doesn't.......interpretation.....who knows.

There are many, but I let you google it and choose which ones are valid and which ones are not since that's all you'll do with anything I reference.

This is an easy question. Christians are also Human. Being a Christian doesn't make you perfect or immune to temptation, it just means you have guidance on how to behave. Doesn't mean you'll behave any better. Just like education. Having a degree doesn't mean a person is smart, nor does it mean the person can use logic.

 

I guess that means that Muslims are human as well and should be forgiven as readily as Christians are on this forum for their crimes against humanity.

 

Of course it's a surprise. I grew up in AL, which allowed 14 year olds to marry with parental permission. I never knew anybody who got married at 14 (17, yes, but not younger). The only group that can now be insulted by the politically correct are Christians and Southerners.

 

Who said anything about forgiving them....not me. You do the crime you should do the time.

You also have to see it from the religion angle. Christians may not report crimes committed by other Christians very well, but as a community they denounce those crimes. Muslims on the other hand also may not report crimes committed by other Muslims very well, but as a community they do not denounce those crimes. Yes, there are a few individuals that will denounce the crimes, but as a community they do not.

 

Also blacks, women, and any minority that disagrees or goes against the narrative.
