If you need to dismiss the preference of the majority of Americans who vote, you can, of course.

I usually dismiss them. However, even they sometimes make good points, as Jeff Foxworthy did in his post.

The People speaking truth to power has furtive GOP legislators running away like rats.

This relentless public expression of discontent has the Trump cult flustered as they seek comfort in their "immediate!" repeal of "ObamaCare" and replacement with "something terrific!"

    Whenever.

Not in real life. The people in my church have a weekly time that they rally in front of the local abortion clinic. If a woman is going in, they offer to help her, and pray for her. No yelling, no graphic posters, just prayer and peace. Love your nasty incorrect assumptions. They are why Trump won. People like you don't see the way people outside of your bubble really leave.

Yep I will cheerfully dismiss the desires of the Californians who gave her that majority.

I keep hearing that Trump's margin in Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin - only 77,744 total votes - were all cast by "borsht breath" illegals, but without credible documentation, I shall refrain from judgement.

So many self-pleasuring rumours, so few facts that are not of the "alternative" variety.

Interesting that you so easily dismiss the state with the largest population (12.1% of US), contributing 13.3 % of the US GDP. It seems to me that California is producing more GDP per capita than most of the states that voted for Trump. In fact, the only states in the top 10 GDP/capita list are Alaska and North Dakota, both due to being lucky as to natural resources.

That is the Mexicans, Guatamalans and Hondurans living illegally in California who gave her that majority.

California has as many if not more natural resources, and if Americans finally get their fill of rotten movies and self important celebrities who couldn't pour (*)(*)(*)(*) out of a boot with directions written on the heel, CA will be broke in a week.

if a republican doesn't believe in birth control wants to ban it for everyone

if a republican is against stem cells, wants to ban it for everyone

the individual mandate was created by republicans

democrats believe you can decide your own religion, republicans think the government shoudl decide for you and force their religion on your children

republicans are against equal rights for minorities, believe minorities should remain silent

republicans outlaw self medicating then complain when people can't afford a doctor to get permission to medicate

    works both ways

So do you honestly think his comedic generalizations have no merit? Is there not a hint of reality in each one?

Not even close, but a very nice try. What you posted is blasphemy. The original post, albeit comedic in nature, hits the general points pretty close to home. Calling Republicans bigots is a bold face lie! You have pretty much zero foundation on your assertions! But again, it was a feeble nice try.

How can you win something there was no competition for? If recall the competition was who could get 270 ev and Trump got 300+. That's winning.

Well...I gotta agree with you, Vote.

NOT ALL Republicans are bigots or racists. NOT AT ALL!

But EVERY avowed racist I have ever known or known about...is a Republican at this point. And that says as much about the Republican Party as "every Republican is a racist" would.

Avowed racists consider the Republican Party to be a home...an organization they think will further their agenda.

    Wasn't always that way.

When the Democratic Party was an organization they felt comfortable with...the Democratic Party was their refuge.

    The Dems grew up!

Your statement that she won the popular vote means absolutely nothing. She is now President of nothing!

you need to learn the difference between the electoral college and the popular vote.

Seriously? And out of more than 300 million people, how many racists have you known? All those people that have protested in the past 8 years with violence to include killing police officers are racists! Let us check whether they are card carrying members of the Republican Party or if they are Democrats?

I think most conservatives think if you want an abortion you pay for it not me. That is what defundin Planned parenthood is about. Why should I pay for your mistake. You want to do drugs you pay for your life choices not me. I could not care less how people live their lives, just do not make me pay for your poor choices.

However, raw votes are irrelevant. The Founders wanted to create a union of states, not a union of people. The presidential vote (electoral college) has two parts--the people and the states.

    Yeah...seriously.

    Probably lots. Definitely many.

If you think I am wrong...go to a KKK meeting...or a White Supremacy group meeting...and ask, "How many of you people are Republicans?"

Are you telling me that...or asking about it?

And note that I mentioned "avowed" racists.

    Fine with me. Go check.

In fact, if you want to deny the obvious...do it. You guys seem more than capable of doing that.

raw votes certainly doesnt get you the white house but the fact that trump is less popular certainly is relevant.
