Conservatives and Liberals VS Cats and Dogs

I've noticed over the years, that it seems liberals are more likely to be cat fanciers, while conservatives favor dogs.

I like both. At the moment I live in an apartment that isn't big enough for a real dog (I have no use for tiny little yap dogs), so we just have a cat. Well, and a bunny. But I don't know how bunnies fit into things politically.

 

I always have to laugh at how folks define liberal and conservative in the most incorrect ways.

I have two cats, but I'm a dog person. We found a kitten and kept it long enough to not want to give it up, even though I'm allergic to them. We had to get another because cats do better in pairs.

 

Liberal Dog riding surfboard, banned permanently by Cat PFM. So obviously, Dog is and will remain liberal, while Cat is loony conservative who dislikes dog posters, especially GrumpyDog, for leaving message with Senior Cat and the Cat Club, asking to have name restored so Dog can post again without having to have Skull sign in.

 

I'm both really. I have a dog and a cat. We call the cat eye scrather. The dog, scratched eye.

 

If I did not know you like I do I would be insulted

I have 5 cats and they are the liberals in the house

After all they all demand a free meal anytime they want one

They live rent free

They make a mess and someone else cleans it up

They get free health care

And when I am trying to type this one of them tries to stop me by walking across the keyboard to silence the truth form being told

She had just feasted on Turkey and Gravy cat food. She was washing her face and just stretched out, let out a belch, and looked away at just the right moment when your post waon the screen

 

Definately a dog person myself. Not that I have a problem with cats. I just love the companionship you get with a dog.

We just lost our 10 year old German Shepherd about a month ago. The house was so lonely that we just recently decided to foster another German Shepherd. He is such a big love! As soon as he gets a clean bill of health from the vet, we will adopt him!

I just thought of something though the OP might have missed. I believe dogs are more liberal then cats. Cats don't need us to survive. Just have water available and they will be ok. Dogs on the other hand................they couldn't live without welfare, (people)! LOLOL

I lost my all time favorite cat about 10 months ago and I still think bout her nearly everyday

 

I grew up with both. And I love both for different reasons. They're both great companions in different ways. And while I totally see the comparison between cats and liberals (i.e. persnickety, self-centered, etc.), I also think there is nothing more alpha male than an unfixed tom cat. He acts like his lion relative. He walks around like he owns the place and just doesn't give a (*)(*)(*)(*). King of the jungle on a smaller scale. And as we know, generally speaking, alpha male traits are more synonymous with conservatives while liberals tend to be more metrosexual.

The main difference between dogs and cats is simple

Dogs have owners

Cats have staff

 

Since all of my cats have hung with the dogs they developed the dogs habits. All go outdoors to do their business, walk without a leash, and guard the property. Not really a lot of difference between them.

 

My cats never go outside. They would freak out and I do not like the idea of doing the other version of a Cat Scan

 

MMM. I like more the cats. Represent the freedom, they do whatever they want.

Dogs represent the subordination to the authority. They do what the master commands them without questioning it.

So, maybe it should represent a bit the feelings of the people. Conservative are more like slave-master minds, so they enjoy having a dog that will do all that they want.

So the people like anarchists, some liberalsthat enjoy freedom and that nobody says them what they must do, then they prefer cats because remember to them this thinking.

And obviously where is a cat remove all dogs. And more in Internet Cats are lovely, and as we say in a news Spanish site, A Category for Cats, yet.

 

Sory to bust your bubble once again but I have 5 cats and they live the life of welfare recipents

They sleep all day and have everything they need in life given to them free of charge

 

Dogs, cats, all animals really, even people.
