Let's look at the five Orwell points I mentioned
1 - surveillance
2 - thought control
3 - big brother
4 - statue desecration
5 - erasure of history.

These thing don't come from Trump. Surveillance comes from tech and the rise
of Big Brother. Big brother is also big govt.. This is from the Left. Thought control,
erasure of history and statue desecration is mostly from the Left (watch what
happens on American campuses)
Sure, the Right can do some of these things too, ie European Fascism 1930's.
but in America it's the Left which controls the culture.
I could never support Trump. But whoever wrote Trump's speech about the American
Left is entirely factual. The right never engaged in speech codes, never turned every
American into a trans-gender, never pulled down a statue, never disinvited speakers
at universities and so on.

 

And all the other presidents and congressmen that spent recklessly prior to Trump don't even get an honorable mention.
