    In a nutshell:
Some fool employee with an inferiority complex and a chip on her shoulder saw these guys sitting on a Starbucks chair waiting for their friend to show up ….. not that they should need a reason at all because the table was not occupied anyway. What does she do about it? She plays hardball tough guy and initiates a confrontation instead of leaving them alone to do no harm. Yada - yada - yada …. she calls the cops who did what they felt was their duty. Racism entered into the situation (real or not) and that had to be taken into consideration. Then Starbucks finds out what an azz their employee is and now has to issue an apology and maybe offer the victims some of Star’s bucks too. Starbucks did the right thing. The statement they are making (contrary to some of the buffoonery comments made within these pages) is that it is not Starbucks policy to treat the public like shyt. The employee was acting on her own prejudice.

The article's title is an example of shitty journalism.

It shouldn't be "cops arrest black men because of trespassing".

It should be "Starbucks employees calls cops, accuses customer of trespassing".

Huff-n-Puke just wants to blame the cops for what Starcucks did becuase Starcucks is a leftoid company.

Of course. Criticizing Blacks in any way is racist, I know that.

The question here is, is it true?

I'd like to get the names and find out. I guess you would rather I didn't. If they were in fact arrested and booked their names should be public record.

    Anybody got the names?

The part in bold is either invalid or out of place.

There is zero evidence or even hints at something resemble evidence to suggest the cops considered race.

In fact the only place we can find racism is when leftoid media got their hands on the story and injected it.

I would say if you edited your post and put the bold part at the end like this...

[...] Racism entered into the situation (real or not), when leftist media wrote their articles, and that had to be taken into consideration because the story of "racist cops" brings all the bigots to the yard plus we have to protect the image of a company that aligns itself with our agenda.

    ...
then it would be 100% correct.

Yeah, it tells us they don't want any trouble at their store so when you do your job, make sure it's done to a white man and not a minority.

English is not my first language. Still, my statement is innocent of the accusation. In any case, I do not use cheap political affinities to bolster my opinions.

Nope. But I did just read this...

"The CEO of Starbucks arrived in Philadelphia hoping to meet with two black men who were arrested when the coffee chain's employees called 911 and said they were trespassing. Meanwhile, protesters took over the shop Monday."

    REALLY???

Did they tell the staff they were waiting for other members of their party to arrive? Or did two people just come in and sit down, and not talk to anyone or place an order? Theres no way the person can tell they are waiting for someone to arrive unless they mentioned it. To an employee it just looks like loitering.

Whether the table is occupied or not doesn't mean you can just step in out of the cold and take a seat. It's not a homeless shelter, it's a business.

It makes no difference. People are not required to explain what they are doing or why.
Whether or not it "looks" that way is only important to an employee with nothing to do or one with an inferiority complex.
    Yes, it does.
What's your point? A chair is a chair no matter where it is.

How do you know he is a real estate guy? I can't find him on google. I suggest he is part of the con game and not a real estate guy.

Do you concede they were indeed trespassing according to the legal definition I gave you twice?

It would bolster your credibility as a intellectually honest debater if you did.

Not anymore! Starbucks made it known that they will welcome anyone to come in and sit. This could get interesting.

Not walking down the street, but in someone elses business?? Of course they do. You don't have some right to just find open chairs and park your butt in them lol.
    It makes ALL the difference.

Of course it matters..it's a business not a homeless shelter. You don't have some right to sit there without buying something.

    No, it doesn't.

Simple. That you and others like you are not special enough that society has to let you come squat in their business. Buy something, or get out. You have no "right" to be there, and it's not because someone has a chip on their shoulder if they kick you for loitering.

My father was a real estate broker who started his own business and hired agents in the state of Alabama. He was previously a broker in Michigan. He was black. Do you think they wore suits constantly?

If their names are released, you can easily look them up on their state's real estate board site. It's public info.

I like your thinking. Perhaps Trump supporters with MAGA hats ought to invade various Starbucks across the country, use the restrooms and not buy anything.

Hah, well then they're cooking their own goose. Good luck to them. Paying customers won't want to be bothered with the Homeless and the kids who want to play D&D squatting all the tables and chairs.

It can be an issue since that's what the police were told. They are discrediting themselves and the story. Why would they lie about that?
