and now they have people in Pences's orbit testing positive. Pence is out on the campaign trail. None of that makes any rational medical sense.

Pence has been exposed and should be quarantined.

but .....winning the election at any cost comes first. even if their behavior is irresponsible and a poor example for the population.

Rounding the turn?? oh sure.....in who's reality??

 

I don't think this is all a scam, I know it is all a scam.

I know many dozens who've been infected, ranging from young age to 83. Most never sought medical help, some suffered with it and others did not, and nobody died.

Scamdemic sir. Why should I believe people who knowingly deceive and terrorize? Why should I believe Fauci and Friends?

The COVID-19 pandemic is going to get worse within the next few months, they might as well cancel Thanksgiving and Christmas because it will get that bad.

That's obvious but not all will die from COVID-19. So let's not get ahead of ourselves here.

 

Deaths per day from the coronavirus in the U.S. are on the rise again, just as health experts had feared, and cases are climbing in practically every state, despite assurances from President Donald Trump over the weekend that “we’re rounding the turn, we’re doing great.”

With Election Day just over a week away, average deaths per day across the country are up 10% over the past two weeks, from 721 to nearly 794 as of Sunday, according to data from Johns Hopkins University. Newly confirmed infections per day are rising in 47 states, and deaths are up in 34.

Health experts had warned that it was only a matter of time before deaths turned upward, given the record-breaking surge in cases engulfing the country. Deaths are a lagging indicator — that is, it generally takes a few weeks for people to sicken and die from the coronavirus.

 

We must all do our part to stem this pandemic or it will get worse. We're in a fight of our lives due to COVID-19 and it will get worse and more people will get sick and more will die. President Trump just doesn't get it saying it will go away soon. FYI This pandemic will be with us longer and we need to do something about it before it takes over us and there will be no end in sight. Is this what we want? Think about it.

 

100% not all of us will die due to COVID-19, but at least 60% will get infected no matter what we do.

 

No matter what you do no matter how long you delay it the end result will be exactly the same.

Yes. WE all must do out part. Not just some of us. Trump should be setting an example. ( well , he IS......but the wrong one). The Health experts should be the ones we all should listen to, Trump acts like he could care less. He has been totally irresponsible about this for months. It almost seems that sees this virus as a societal cleansing .......... as it is the vulnerable that die, the poor, the pigmented, the aging. He seems to forget that he is their presz too.
He makes it obvious that he is bored with the pandemic issue. .......That too is irresponsible. and lacking in leadership. He does not seem to get that a nation of sick and dying cannot improve its economy. The more new cases...... the more it affects the economy. People in quarantine can't all work from home..........not when they are ill. He does not get that the path to a successful win at the election is how he is managing the virus. Heck...he does not even want to hear about it. He behaves like he is jealous of the media coverage the virus is getting......

 

There will be no reliable vaccine from common cold.
Even flu shot is just reduces probability for 25% - 40%.

 

Fear mongering should stop first.
Otherwise it is not clear whether we have a pandemic or just political fake news for the purpose to grab the power.

 

You may have a good point there. What Trump says about it isn't going to happen as he has said it for months and isn't going to go away anytime soon. even Trump tested positive and ended in the hospital, There is still the chance he could get again and it won't surprise me if he does. There are still those that tested negative and can stay that way. The winter season is coming and don't be surprised if more people get it.

Things are going sideways in many places. And at the risk of being realistic....it will probably get a lot worse before it gets better. We are not turning the bend. That is false optimism at best and a lie at worst. One cannot rush the process of vaccine making either.....regardless of the spin coming frp, the white house. We can't pin our hopes on some vaccine of the future. We must do what we know works now......and do it collectively. It is up to US. How many MORE fellow Americans do we want to see get ill and/or die , Sick and the dead cannot revive the economy. We are so much more fortunate than the people of the past who suffered pandemics etc. We live in the age of technology......... and we can use it creatively to get through this.......Wearing masks , social distancing and sanitizing is not rocket science. We have to do it. IMHO.......we must see this as a HEALTH issue ........not politics.

 

In the meantime, the WH science office is listing "ending COVID," as Trump's top accomplishment.
