I am not sure lockdown is the way to go. It would be a big denial of freedom. But if they had a true lockdown, pretty much everything, including grocery stores (giving people a bit of advance warning of course), I suppose this whole thing would be over in two weeks. The lockdowns they have with all the exceptions are never going to work and seem to be a waste of time to me.

I'm saying that they could be listening/reading news that disputes the need for physical separateion including staying away from groups.

The governor of FL, the president, Fox news, and others have directly opposed or downplayed the importance of physical separation.

You can't suggest that the kids should have been smarter when their leaders were not smarter.

Medical science does NOT say that COVID will go away in a few weeks if only we stay home.

My understanding is that serious physical separation will slow the spread enough that hospitals won't be overwhelmed. Thus they can save people's lives, not lose doctors and nurses, etc.

This even goes for smaller cities, as they tend to have less hospital capacity. Plus, we've been losing smaller hospitals at a rapid pace. And, they don't tend to be profitable enough to have a supply of $30,000 ventilators.

Today there are no treatments or vaccines, so the best we've got is to slow the rate and keep our hospitals working to save those they can.

Freedom ends where thrththe other guys nose begins. And this is very American .

We cannot be irresponsible and hide behind freedom. Rather juvenile imo

Hell in ww2 we had gas stamps as well as other stamps to limit what we could buy. No one said this was a war on freedom . We were mature people. And pragmatists.

Undeveloped frontal lobes. Generally not fully developed until age 25

Plus these kids think they are immortal and bullet proof . Probably why we send teens into combat!
