Didn't these preachers all support Bush and his invasion of Iraq?? And all the lies of the causus belli (cause of war)??? Weapons of mass destruction??? Al Qaeda links???? Uranium from Niger???? Why didn't the Holy Spirit guide them to reject the war???? Did the war turn out to be as easy as they thought, or as just, or as cheap as they believed??? Temper Tantrum??? My four year old daughter does the same when I say no to cookies. Those angels from Africa and South America can't breach the southern border and certify Trump as the winner in the last election!!!
Preachers believe in burning bushes, a virgin mother and a rage-aholic Sky Daddy that drowned all his creations (except for two of each binary sex but somehow let the mosquitoes and roaches get on the ark too). You didn't expect them to start being sane now, did you?
Did you all catch that? ---- when she prays "whatever it takes, another election another voting day under your kingdom, oh God." "Election" "Voting day" "under your kingdom" all in the same sentence!!! And she is totally oblivious to it. Someone should tutor this asinine idiot that we are a republic. No kings no queens no lords.
That's how they all talk. It's really funny when they do the "tongues" thing. I got dragged to all those weirdo churches as a kid. My mother was Catholic but we had to not tell the priest (we went to Catholic school) we went to other churches sometimes. ;-0
A salient point - The religous right being big supporters of war.. Perhaps the Holy Spirit is a war monger ?
It breaks my heart that so many Christians support Trump. My pastor now rejects the election results as presented. Our former assistant pastor thought he would be like Jehu and eliminate the enemies. Jezebel still runs the House of Representatives and Athaliah is still at large.
Weren't these the same nut jobs running around in 2016 screaming that it was God's will that Trump was elected? Now man up and admit it was God's will that Trump's ass was booted out of office.
Really most of them don't believe that crap, they just want you to believe it so they can keep getting in your wallet.
Teach her this life lesson and she will have a fantastic future fleecing 20% of the population. Hey, it's a freakin' gravy train. Kidding BTW. Man, but is it ever lucrative. Who would think so many people would just hand over their money to these folks.
I know quite a few Fundies. They are deep, deep, deep in their delusion. I got lucky. My parents threw me out with nowhere to go and to make sure I didn't have any support forbade everyone in the family to not help me and even got me ex-communicated from our parish. I've attended other denominational churches since then but they were all the same. It was hard but probably one of the best things that could have happened. And, we can see some of that on forums on the net. Some people are so judgmental and outright mean. It's like they don't just skip all the parts about "loving thy neighbor" (well, not adultery, but you know what I mean. . It's insane how they justify that in their own heads. It makes me happy, not so much for me, but my children. Ex kidnapped them a little over five years ago but I never exposed them to that crap when I was part of their daily lives so neither of them have low self-esteem, an unending sense of guilt and all the baggage Fundies put on a kid. I have always been active in the communities where I've lived. I help strangers all the time. It is SO hard not to break out laughing when they thank me and add "You're a good Christian." I don't bust their fantasy. I never understood why people need religion to do the right thing. It's not really that hard. It's not good when you hurt somebody. Don't do that. Simple. What's with the need to congregate and listen to some guy/woman tell you that? That's a waste of a perfect good weekend day. ;-0 [Now, watch. I'm going to get damned to hell in about 20 minutes or so. ]
