I chose Texas because if they can come here for medical school in a conservative state, what makes you thnk they are doing the same thing in your state?

Again, this is about the personal choice on whether to become a physician or dentist or not. But it takes a lot of dedication, a lot of work, and a lot of schooling, residency, interns, fellows, etc before they can go out on their own. And most people want that instant success like flipping houses or something like that.

 

European hospitals are heaving with black or mixed race staff from traînée nurses to top surgeons. The surgeons who operated on my back is Egyptian. ( and BTW spoke French and English too).
The British health service would collapse without them.
You may not have reason to mix with lawyers, surgeons , academics , scientists or other professionals but black people are very évident by their présence.

First, that would not be syntax, but semantics.
