Yes and it’s easier to dismiss the much huger rates of starvation and deaths from other communicable diseases as these are deaths from people of color which you freely admit are of much lower value? But what about the white and Jewish population people who are more targeted by smoking and driving motor vehicles? Or cancer which is disproportionately Jewish?
The greatest threats should be dealt with by the greatest community response.
    Not so with COVID!!!

    Utter nonsense!

    1. I am not interested in calculations of someone, who fails with even the most basic knowledge on this subject
    2. Due to (1) you have no idea whats the problem in a pandemia, so you are doing random calculation. You can also take the average piss of a horse and divide it by the nail length of your grandmother. You are giving the answer to a question nobody is interested in. The fact that some people will die of Corona is a problem nearly neglectable to the problems that the virus can potentially spread too fast to keep health/security/economic systems intact.

For me as someone who is not part of any high-risk group Corona for me as an individual is not exceptionally dangerous. It does not really care, if I catch Corona, when emergency rooms are full, they are full, no matter if you have Corona or a car accident. And if I catch a tonsilitis and doctors tell me antibiotics are out, they are out. We dont need to talk about recession if it comes to the worst case, we are talking about a collapse then. That's the danger governments all over the world try to avoid. Of course its like with an insurance, you can hope it turns out good (which can happen of course, nobody knows e.g. how many people are in fact already resistent to Corona; they found it in my blood randomly in a blood examination concernning a completely different parameter; maybe there are more people out there then we know and it would not spread as fast as in bad case scenarios predicted), but in this case its a dance on the volcano's edge. Sweden does it, Brazil does it, we will see how it will turn out.

But please spare me nonsense comments like above, like "they are done".

Could be a very long wait for that and economies have to get up and running or the cure will be worse than the virus.

More like Washington and Wisconsin staying shutdown when they are meeting or exceeding CDC guidelines to open up.

What matters is that Sweden has a high death rate from COVID-19.

10.3 million folks in Sweden, 5,787 deaths as of today

8.4 million folks in NY City over 23,000 deaths as of today

less people in NYNY yet 4x the deaths, and deaths are what matters

NYNY, masking up, locking down, punishing offenders of the mask

    Sweden- common sense

    numbers don't lie

A comparison to NY is ridiculous

A comparison to Sweden's neighbors is quite reasonable which is why you DIDN'T do that.

Compared to their neighbors...Sweden failed miserably

    huh?

    numbers are numbers

both are liberal meccas so you should be happy with either one. The issue is that you do not like the facts.

NYNY has less people but 4x the deaths. NYNY had social distancing, lockdowns, masking up, Karens dropping a dime on non-mask wearers yet 4x the number of deaths.

What you desire simply doesn't work. I again say, if you are so scared, go home, lock the door and mask up.
