Oh yes. Be afraid! Be very afraid!
    Sleep with a light on!
They're coming to get yer guns - AGAIN.
You guys with small hands are so funny....

If anything, there is likely to be a law REQUIRING you to buy a gun.

Hillary has a similar sense of humor.

“Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton apologized yesterday for joking that Mahatma Gandhi "ran a gas station down in St. Louis." The New York Democrat made the remark Saturday at a fund-raiser in St. Louis for Senate candidate Nancy Farmer while Clinton was introducing a quote from Gandhi. Many in the crowd of 200 laughed, and Clinton said: "No, Mahatma Gandhi was a great leader of the 20th century." She then quoted the Indian independence leader as saying: "First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win." WASHINGTON POST, Wednesday, January 7, 2004; Page C03.

So it is not just black Americans.

Keep laughing. I have been collecting examples of the systemic racism of the DP for a long time.

"Do you have a senior member of your cabinet that was black or brown?" Mr. Sharpton demanded, after Dr. Dean had earlier suggested that hiring more minorities was a key to racial understanding in America.

"We had a senior member of my staff on my fifth floor," Dr. Dean responded elliptically, in an apparent reference to the executive offices in Vermont.

"No, your cabinet!" Mr. Sharpton said. Dr. Dean responded quietly: "No, we did not."

"Then you need to let me talk to you about race in this country," Mr. Sharpton said.

Dr. Dean responded, moments later, "I will take a back seat to no one in my commitment to civil rights in America."

At another point, Senator John Edwards of North Carolina lectured Dr. Dean on Southern sensibilities. Dr. Dean had just apologized again for saying last fall that he wanted to be "the candidate for guys with Confederate flags" in their pickup trucks. He declared that the flag "is a painful symbol to African-Americans." New York Times, In Final Debate Before Caucuses, Democrats Tangle on Race Issues, By TODD S. PURDUM and ADAM NAGOURNEY, Published: January 12, 2004
Clever of the DP poster to encourage a review of the racism that infects their party and its leaders. ;-)

I had actually forgotten a few of those examples until I searched my archives.

Of course she never received pay. I am sure that now you will condemn gays speaking out about LGBT rights since they have an obvious conflict of interest.

All she had to do is report her obvious bias to her boss. She failed to do so. She should be fired

LOL, sure. Of course the obvious bias of the left wing 'unbiased journalists' never has to be declared.

Present your case. If you know of a gay journalist that did NOT make his employers and readers aware that he was gay prior to printing a story lets hear it. You got nothing. LOL

If what now passes for the "progressive" "left" had ever really been capable of "critical criticism" it would have choked on its guilt.

"For many years I have lived in dread of having to answer the Question. Curiously, no one has asked it. ...The Question: What did you know and when did you know it? ...I remained a supporter of the international movement and of the Soviet Union until there was nothing left to support. Now, as everyone knows, in a noble effort to liberate the human race we broke all records for mass slaughter, piling up tens of millions of corpses in less than three quarters of a century.”… Eugene D. Genovese, The Crimes of Communism: What did you know, and when did you know it?" "Dissent" Summer, 1994.

"Those who are big on multiculturalism might note that the great majority of our victims were nonwhite. ...Reflecting on moral responsibility. I have referred to 'we'. For it has never occurred to me that the moral responsibility falls much less heavily on those of us on the American left than it fell on Comrade Stalin and those who replicated his feats in one country after another. " Eugene D. Genovese, "The Crimes of Communism: What did you know, and when did you know it?" "Dissent" Summer, 1994.

And how does the internal disciplinary conduct of a privately owned newspaper, trying to enforce its own ethical standards/ policies suggest a 'hatred' of the first amendment?

Because it is not an application of any Ethical standards that can be defended, if she had committed a violation of her job as a Journalist, she did not however, she expressed her beliefs in another forum, same as if she was a Preacher in a Church, or spoke up for LGBT, or Civil Rights.

Speaking up for Second Amendment Rights as an unpaid spokesperson on her own time violated nor exceeded any Ethical boundaries as a Journalist.

You don't get my point. The first amendment was not designed to protect anyone from nasty experiences in their private personal or professional relationships. it was designed to protect us from GOVERNMENT attempting to impose itself via regulation. Assuming every single fact you propose, a newspaper did the naughty to an employee or subcontracted party, not a governor, a legislature, or an administrative arm of any governmental institution. It is no more first amendment matter than if a pet store fired an employee improperly. She does not have a constitutional right to have her opinions printed in that newspaper. The paper has a constitutional right to have its access to readers unimpeded, regardless of content, by any act of government and she has a first amendment right to write whatever she chooses in her column without government interfering.

Here is an example of a conflict of interest, a clerk refusing to process a marriage license for a Legal same sex marriage because she is Christian.

A Journalist that believes in the RTKBA and the Second Amendment and makes speeches and attends meetings and other 2nd Amendment functions poses no conflict of interest as long as he or she fulfills those primary duties sans conflict of interest.

She was denied further employment because she resigned. She was put on suspension for failure to disclose potential conflicts of interest fairly material given the subject of her article. You some sort of commie that doesn't believe in contract law or the right of an employer to employ whom they will?

What are you even mad about? No one would've read her article if this hadn't happened. No one would know her name. She's going to parley this into real fame and get to help the cause as well.
