Hey Shaft YOU have claimed it is a murder so give us the motivation and intent you claim to arrive at that conclusion. They will insure the jury is not stacked with people like you who are prejudiced and make things up.

Here are some synonyms for unarmed.

    defenseless, weaponless; More
unprotected, undefended, unguarded, unshielded, vulnerable, exposed, assailable, open to attack

You don't think it's significant that the police and by extension our government is killing defenseless, vulnerable people, at all, let alone blacks, at a considerably much higher rate?

Give me the motive and intent when she went to the apartment you claim that ramps it to murder.

Did you know the entire apartment complex was interviewed?

Do you know what percentage said that they've gone to the wrong floor before?

EVERYTHING points to this being a tragic perfect storm of events. You literally have nothing to support your statement that this is murder.

The victim was black and that's all you see....it's all you ever see.

The second she stepped inside she should have known she was in the wrong apartment ----- different color, furnishings, etc. Plus I'm certain the victim said something to her - like who are you?
The oops defense has been used too many times. She's obviously a lousy police officer whose uniform shouldn't be used as a cloak for her to hide behind.

Conjecture on your part but still manslaughter as charged.

Who died and named you prosecutor? Other than a self serving weak ass excuse, we don't know why she was there. I hope his family nails her in civil court.

It's possible, but you would hear it not close and who goes to bed without checking to make sure their door isn't locked. That is habit.

A innocent man killed in his apartment.

Will we know they get stacked with folks like you all the time, that is how folks get away with murder.

Post that for all to read.

The victim was black and that is the reason you want to call it an accident.

That makes it a homicide not murder. What makes it a murder? What was her motive and intent and provide the evidence to support your assertion.

You mean folks who are not prejudiced but weight the evidence. The murder trial I was on he didn't get away it.

Then stop stating as a matter of fact it was closed and locked, you don't know.

The prosecutor charged her with manslaughter and the case looks pretty firm at this point and yes the family may be able to sue her. That STILL does not make it murder.
Why so hung up on it being murder, must have motive and intent, instead of manslaughter, a negligent homicide?

If you've got evidence to the contrary we've all been waiting to see it for awhile now...

    And what did you learn?

Manslaughter is not negligent homicide. Incorrect statement of law.

Because the practice of cops saying "oops" and then using the uniform as a cloak to hide behind when they kill someone has to stop. They should be held to a higher standard and be given harsher punishments when caught abusing their powers and the public trust. If she can't recognize her own apartment just how bombed and incompetent was she? She needs to do some hard time for being a total dumbass. An innocent man relaxing in his own home died because of her. oops.

How is she hiding she has been charged with MANSLAUGHTER!!!! That can get her 20 years!!!

And you assert police officers should be charged with crimes they did not commit? How absurd.

The only reason the Powers That Be revoked the Jim Crow laws was because they could no longer claim to be better than the commies when it came to human rights when it was so obviously a lie proven every day on the tv news. They didn't do squat during WWII when we were supposedly fighting the nasty Axis powers.

Did the dummy cops verify the door operation before they removed the door lock?

I think the consensus was that equal treatment was the right thing to do
