I think it was a simple mistake (everybody makes them, yes?). It has been corrected and the source has apologized. No need to call every error "BS" or to paint every conservative as a raving gun nut:

To be fair, we don't know that he got onto campus. Wasn't there a massive crowed of people outside the school after the event? He likely went to interview them - not that I've seen any his interview footage.

 

If he did-where is the footage?
