    Yes i know, the tax code is 80k pages. But in that is the answer.

    it is in there, but it's not the easiest way to find the answers unless your a tax legal expert that knows your stuff

    or someone else that knows can give the answer, that is why people ask or hire others

    someday maybe you will be able to ask some AI type system for the answer

    Well we can look at what a 501c charity is, isn't that what religions are considered?

    Don't be obtuse. The relevant portions of the 14th Amendment which imposes a duty for State and local governments to honor and protect federal Constitutional rights are:

    "...
    No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws."
