Since Democrats tend to usually be ok with open borders, sometimes, I think to myself, to bad that they just can't pay taxes for them, and support them. Like a special tax. I mean after all, the Democrat Politicians already tax the rest of us so much.

employers must match the 7.65% SS withholding and also must withhold healthcare from the employees wages

when they hire illegals that can pay lower wages because the cost of SS and helthcare taxes are not included

example... to pay a legal worker and withhold taxes it may cost the employer $15 bucks an hour..to pay an illegal worker for doing the exact same job with no SS tax or healthcare withheld cost the employers $10 bucks an hour

stop paying illegal immigrants and they will stop showing up

My wife and I are currently petitioning for her parents to come here. I have to vouch for their financial support.

They are not eligible for handouts of any kind - and that is as it should be.

Only ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS are eligible for government support.

Actually the public charge inadmissibility applies to everyone the same other than refugees/asylees.

FYI the I-864 is not enforced, so if your wife's parents get on state "handouts" there are no consequences for anyone.

As for my wife's parents, they're not going to work at all - they're old and retired. We're going to take care of them and give them the opportunity to get to know their grandkids and take it easy in their golden years.

I make good money, and already support them abroad as well as some other relatives.
