Let's take a step back, shall we? Let’s Debunk The Misleading Panic Over 3-D Guns The newest bugaboo of the gun control crowd is the bloodcurdling “3-D printer gun.” Or, as Alyssa Milano, a self-styled expert on these matters, might call it: “downloadable death.” Reporters at CNN ask, “3-D guns: Untraceable, undetectable and unstoppable?” Even President Donald Trump tweeted that “he’s looking into 3-D Plastic Guns being sold to the public. Already spoke to NRA, doesn’t seem to make much sense!” It makes plenty of sense. First of all, “3-D Plastic Guns” aren’t being sold to the public. Nor are “downloadable firearms” or “ghost guns.” These things don’t exist. Data, code, and information is being sold to the public. There is no magical contraption that creates a new gun on demand. Sorry. http://thefederalist.com/2018/08/01...ail&utm_term=0_cfcb868ceb-a25143d52b-83793281
Anyone who can afford a 3D printer capable of making a plastic gun could afford to buy multiple guns including on the black market.
Most people have no ides how easy guns are to make/get. Every single felon who wants a gun already has one.
sure there is, its called a 3D printer. any anarchist, terrorist, anti-American can now buy a top of the line 3D printer, download the specs for a 3D pistol or AR Lower Receiver, and build their own gun. No govt. oversight. No background check. This is a terrorists and criminals dream come true. Guns for everyone!!!!!!
we will now have *******s buying 3D Printers so they can make hundreds if not thousands of these guns and AR Lower Receivers to sell on the black market. Great, just what we need.
FINALLY you are forced to admit at least a portion of the truth. This reality does sound the death knell for gun control; so I guess it's time for the gun banners to get on board with pursuing REAL solutions to crime and violence.
Criminals can now buy a super 3D printer, print out AR Lower Receivers and sell them on the black market to terrorists and criminals. Its one more option for terrorists and criminals to get their hands on a deadly firearm. This is a threat to national security. Can't believe anyone would support this.
The 3D gun shown is a short barrel plastic gun - single shot - with less firepower in that one shot than a .22 pellet gun rifle that anyone can buy in a WalMart store - no ID required.
You can print the 'Liberator'- a .380 single shot pistol. Minor assembly (and a roofing nail) required. The technology to print scary 'assault' weapons on demand is not likely far off. ...and theres no laws that will stop it.
the last thing we need are anti gun extremists who pretend that terrorism is what motivates their constant schemes to infringe on our rights.
yes you are-you want to make everyone in the USA subject to the same stupid laws that NYC imposes on people. Schumer and Feinswine have or have had CCW permits. So does the anti gun publisher of the NYTs owning a gun yet wanting others to be subject to stupid laws makes you an enemy of the second amendment and gun rights
If I were able to post a poll and it asked Is Ronstar anti gun rights? how do you think the results would come out?
good thing Im not the topic of this thread. but you guys cant help but personalize the discussion, rather than talk about the issues. its quite sad.
You don't talk about the issues, Ron. You obfuscate, dissemble, and twist facts to spout hyperbole and propaganda to push an unconstitutional agenda. That's what's REALLY sad.
They can be, however, anti-gun rights, and I believe that when someone accuses someone else of being "anti-gun", it's shorthand for "anti-gun rights".
you believe in harassing people selling guns to their friends you support the Hughes Amendment you support magazine limits you support waiting periods that's anti gun
