This is why we ill never pay off our debt and why the debt will continue to climb higher and higher. Democrats continue to tell us the Obama economy is getting better yet we need to keep spending more and more on handouts for the "poor"
Should be much more. Of course Democrats are always out to get as many people as possible dependent on government thus shackling them into a never ending cycle of dependency and thus a lifelong Democrat voter
It's a big deal because that 1% food stamps reduction is starting to eat into Walmart top line. That explains why Walton family is behind Democrat in every election. Last week, they publicly endorsed Hillary Clinton for President 2016. Hopefully she can return some favor by reversing the food stamp cut. It's quite amusing there are endless threads attacking Walmart from the liberals when in fact Walmart is a strong supporter of Democrat agenda. Oh wait!!! Walmart only supports any policy that would give its revenue a boost. Hah.
It interesting how the right-wing friendly OP fails to mention that increased subsidies for rich farmers just about offsets the food stamp cuts. I wonder why that is... Robert Aderholt of Alabama, Stephen Fincher of Tennessee, Vicky Hartzler of Missouri, John Kline of Minnesota, Doug LaMalfa of California, Frank Lucas of Oklahoma, Randy Neugebauer of Texas, K risti Noem of South Dakota, Marlin Stutzman of Indiana Mac Thornberry of Texas.
I read about that too, I am really wondering how the left is going to reconcile its Walmart hating with its Hillary loving.
Given your history of selectively editing posts I am surprised you did not make changes to my OP Bottom line is Democrats seldom ever want to cut back on spending which is why we have seen the debt shoot up over $7 trillion under Obama.
Its so small I don't much care. Cut then same amount from the defense budget and I won't stamp my feet up and down whining that the country has lost its whole sense of itself because of a 1% cut to a program. That's just what people do when they want to stir the pot. But let's be serious, more cuts should be made. A 1% cut to every department (and to discretionary spending) would be quite welcome.
I guess I can understand your problem After all Democrats are used to spending TRILLIONS so it may be difficult for them to think about BILLIONS Also it is not their money so they do not give a damn how it is spent. Like teenagers with their parents credit card the last thing they look at is the bottom line cost of anything
those poor people are the ones "recovering" in the form of welfare and food stamps and healthcare and obamaphones. thats the way they see it
Yea, and they may get boils from sitting on their ass but then they can use their "free" Obamacare and get them lanced
This is what I mean about the left and how they are talking out of both sides of their mouth Yet Democrats and the libral media talk about the "suffering" going on in America when it comes to the "poor"
