Yes! By golly you have finally got it! You and the DP should seize credit for the shutdown. Be brave, stand tall on principle. If the only way to open the government is to give Trump $5/7B for The Wall keep the USG shutdown until 11/2020.

Only a Republican would give Trump credit for this shutdown and the impressive DP victory it represents.
I can only hope your efforts here do not weaken the resolve of the Pelosi/Schumer to refuse to fund The Wall and keep the USG shutdown until Trump cries "Uncle!".

Her answer was, "NO."
