Funny how you constantly try to pass off UNSUBSTNTIATED SPECULATION as FACT here.

Utter nonsense. Texas Voter ID law was upheld in Federal court. Your illegal, non-citizens will have a hard time voting.

The current account deficit was $473.4 billion in 2011. Although just 3% of the $14.7 trillion U.S. Gross Domestic Product (GDP), it was still the worst current account balance in the world. This was up from $470.9 billion in 2010, the second year since the recession that the deficit grew. The increase was mostly caused by the U.S. trade deficit of $556.9 billion. Unilateral transfer payments, such as government grants, pensions, and remittances from foreign workers back their home countries, also added $134.6 billion to the current account deficit. These deficits were not offset by a surplus of $221 billion in net income on U.S. assets owned abroad, and wages paid to U.S. employees working abroad. (Source: Bureau of Economic Analysis, U.S. International Transactions; CIA WorldFactbook, Current Account Balance World Rank, 2011)
    current debt: 17 trillion.
15 trillion in revenue is not enough to pay the debt and placate the deficit.
    Nope, were broke.
I don't know what you call debt and deficit but the income is less than the outgoing..that means we're broke.
And that's not even considering what is owed to social security and ACA.......
    double nope, we're broke

You don't have to pay off the entire debt in one year. You just need to pay it down a little at a time. With $15 trillion in gross income we could do that easily.

Write your Republican Tea party rep and tell them to raise taxes.

You need a few lessons in history, sweetie - check this lesson out for yourself:

It is true that both parties give welfare to the rich. But to say that FDR started the welfare state is ignorant nonsense.

so, what do we do about the interest? That's the real issue......while we pay down a little, the interest keeps accumulating. Hell we can't even keep up with the interest alone....
you realize most economists wont even deal with the interest on the national debt.....they completely ignore it like it doesn't exist.
The economy is in shambles whether you blame George Washington or Obama.....
why raise taxes? just stop the damned over-spending..............

But we're not paying it down, in fact, running massive deficits. We're currently sending 3 trillion a year in tax revenues, they're spending much more.

Why not we cut corporate taxes, our rate the highest in the industrialized world?

I don't understand. You need proof the US federal government is running yearly massive deficits...or that US federal tax revenues equal 3 trillion annually? Those are well known facts, are you disputing them or making sure I know how to link to reference material?

I believe the confusion is yours, I was commenting on deficit spending, debt, and US federal tax revenues when you asked that I "document my claims", as if you were disputing those facts. I didn't read your comments on election cheatings so cannot comment. I do know losers of elections often point fingers and try to place blame, complain about cheating though, I am aware of that.

No need to cut corporate taxes. Just end foreign tax shelters and make them pay their fair share of taxes.
