so you responded to me to tell me you don't want to respond to me. And this made sense to you? it is whatever you're told to think by your masters. Ooh being persnickety over nonsense that's a good sign that you have valid argument.
That is not what is written there. Your reading comprehension is atrociously bad. And what evidence do you have that I, in fact, am getting my opinions, from my, "masters," hmm? Oh, you don't know, but it's what your masters told you to say?? Except that my letting you in, on something that you never got the memo about, so was a mistake that you would continue to repeat (which only makes you seem stupid, to whomever you mistakenly use that expression), was NOT part of my argument. I included it, parenthetically, at the end of my post, a ways down from the rest, just as a "heads up," to you-- sort of like telling someone that they had a piece of toilet paper stuck to the bottom of their shoe, and trailing behind them as they walked, or had a "kick me," sign, on their backs. But what does it say about your argument, that this is what you focus on? In fact, since you have never even quoted my argument to you, I am going to guess as to what actually happened. This is what you quoted: DEFinning said: ↑ Like I said, your arguments are just unoriginal copies of Kaz's arguments, and so obviously fallacious, that I don't even need to write a new reply, to answer them: That's it, nothing more. The most likely reason, it seems to me, that you did not include what was in the quote box, following my colon ( : ), above (which should have indicated to you, that what followed, explained what I'd just said), was that you didn't realize there was anything more to my answer! You somehow thought that the quote, above, was my complete answer, and assumed that the quote box, below it, was just another person to whom I was replying. So here is my actual reply, recycled from answering one of Kaz's comments, making the same essential point, as you were belatedly uttering: DEFinning said: ↑ Oh, so serial numbers on weapons have NOT directly led to many, or any, arrests for crimes, committed with those weapons, because all criminals are so meticulous about attending to every detail that could possibly link them to a crime, huh? You sure you wanna go with that? To that comment of mine, you replied this insulting and abusive post: Polydectes said: ↑ So this is your pathetic little excuse for why you can't come up with any valid reason for any of this nonsense. It's just something burning dead moron with a d next to his name saying something and you just shake your head right along with it. Yessa massa I do whatever you say. Yeah, my "pathetic" reason that I don't need to "come up with" an excuse-- which is all you are doing, with your bat turd, hypothetical reasoning-- is because, in real life practice, gun serial numbers are used to make arrests. As to why those criminals did not "chisel off," or "scrape off," the serial number, as you've maintained that they would, more times than I could keep track of, is really not anything that I need to answer. Maybe, though, you should start giving a class, for criminals-- because those serial numbers still lead police to responsible parties, just like they always have, in that past when, also, you claim that criminals obliterated the serial numbers. I guess the obvious conclusion, is that you are wrong, and not all of them do this. Common sense should make his unnecessary to point out but, considering my present interlocutor, I will note that not everyone who commits a crime, with a handgun is a career criminal, who planned everything out. Oftentimes, these are crimes of passion. How many murders, for example, have been caught because they didn't destroy their sneakers, afterward, on which police later found invisible traces of the victim's blood? Criminals are not always the clearest- thinking, best planners. They make obvious mistakes. Serial numbers, we know, help police put away violent criminals. So the onus is not on me, but on you, to explain why we should not do this. (And try to come up with something original, this time).
Yes. Both the news media and Biden administration are lying about this. They don't tell you these "parts kits" include an unfinished receiver -- THAT THE BUYER MUST MACHINE TO THE FINISHED STATE -- for the gun to be functional. As always, they are preying upon the emotions of the ignorant to push an otherwise unsellable agenda.
that's exactly what you said. Look at all this nonsense you typed and just to try and avoid addressing the point. Instead of typing all of this BS why don't you just adjust my point oh wait it's because you can't.
Because new laws turn legal gun owners into criminals. In CA, if grandpa still has his old rifle and some standard capacity magazines, he is now a felon.
But why should they be punished for that? Why do you feel the desire to be able to trace back guns now in the hands of legal gun owners? That's a little revealing about your actual desires, isn't it?
No we're talking about parts. Explain how you can load a bullet and fire it out of just this one component.
just like seat belt laws, old guns are exempt, were talking guns where the serial number was removed or made from parts
Or that possess them at all. Something that's perfectly legal up until a few minutes ago. This is creating criminals it's not fighting crime.
. Oh okay so if parts don't have serial numbers that should be acceptable and you disagree with Biden?
why would you be against being able to trace back guns "That's a little revealing about your actual desires, isn't it?"
That is not actually the real issue. The real issue is associated with that government knows the identity of the person who is connected with that gun and serial number. Having to have serial numbers would not be much of an issue if the name of the owner did not have to be reported at the same time that gun was being sold, or when a new serial number was being applied for. Not mention the requirement that the serial number has to be added by someone with a manufacturer or importer license.
Because I want to hunt with them I want to keep them for personal defense or they want to go to Target shooting with them or they're just cool. Do you really think criminals are spending thousands of dollars having parts machined when the $200 pistol can do the job?
