Democrats look to strip Secret Service protection from Trump if he's convicted

Democrats have finally come out of the closet.
First they denied protection for JFK,Jr. inviting Kennedy targeters to have a go at him.
Now, they want to deny Trump SS protection for the simple reason of using a kangaroo court verdict to make his assassination easier and more likely.
Thus, they want to facilitate the removal of their two opposing candidates from this mortal coil.

 

Good — but it doesn’t “target trump” — it applies to anyone convicted of a felony and sentenced to prison.

Maybe try not electing felons?

 

And it won't apply to Trump. Too baaaad.

 

The Democrats are dangerous. Plain and simple.

This will never pass, though. Not to mention, Biden would never sign it.

 

In other words, they want Trump murdered in prison.

 

Of course! That would save them a lot of trouble in November, not to mention guarantee that he wouldn't get elected.

The Democrats are scared. They won't stop at anything to keep him out of office.

 

When you are a convicted felon, you lose many privileges.

 

I wondered when the dastardly DNC was going to get around to "essentially" putting him in danger... I suppose it could even be a sort of death sentence..

felons lose social security when in prison.... they should lose Secret Service protection too, though they would be put in protective custody to keep them safe

that said, Trump will never go to prison no matter how many times found guilty, no matter how many times he violates probation

 

Except for a former president's Secret Service detail. You don't lose that. It's guaranteed by statute.

 

That about as good an excuse as any for the DNC's "final solution"..

I'm not sure how he could be in danger. He, himself, has suggested that this unfair treatment has only made him more popular. So that takes care of the Right. As for the Left, really we just wanted to see justice and that all are treated equally under the law. I think most will be satisfied with him being incarcerated. So who is going to assassinate him?

 

Ok, fine. Congress should change the law. Only problem is, the change won't apply to Trump and that's the only reason they want to do it.

Yesterday Leticia James tried to get that judge to not accept Trump's bond.

The left is in total harassment mode and targeting Trump and his supporters. The yell, kick and scream about threats to democracy, but what they really mean are threats to their grip in power.

Again we see republicans demanding special treatment for their special criminals. All inmates should be kept safe, why should his brief time in office get him more special treatment?

 

So you believe he’ll be convicted and want him to have special treatment other felons don’t have? Why?

 

Throw in Democrats in the House taking the lead from the SCOTUS that Congress is the folks with authority to remove Trump from the ballots, not states.... for insurrection he was never convicted and actually has been acquitted by Congress themselves once already... Does double jeopardy for the same issue not apply?
