    And Trump can't be trusted, then we are at an impasse.

    I'm willing to table the issue of DACA and get the life of government employees back on track first.

    The question is, will Trump allow himself to table the issue of the wall to get the government back on track?

    If his answer is no, he can continue owning the shutdown.

    So he offered to kick the can down the road. They have said no to more than $1b for the wall so until he drops his demand...

    You mean the DP might shutdown the government again in the future? The DP can count on support from the small limited government people for every partial shutdown. I certainly hope Pelosi will hang in there until 11/2020. Partial shutdowns = progress.

    The Democrats are very experienced in promising and not making good. Haven't done anything for minorities, middle class or DACA..

    All their time is spent on trying to spin things and make the Republicans look at fault. So easy when all but one cable news outlet is socialist and progressive

    As evidenced by the fact rthey can be offered what they want and still turn it down

    Not just immigration but virtually any Trump or Republican Legislation.

    They passed obamacare without Republican votes or knowing what the effect would be on the Private Group insurance. Not much changed.

    I'm also willing to table the Wall. A temporary government funding to end the shutdown, while working on a broader budget bill. This has been the status quo the last 5-6 years, but I hope this is the final time.

    You do realize it ironic to say that when mitch is refusing to allow a floor vote on a bill that have previously passed the senate with unanimous consent? All because poor trump was called out by faux and friends.

    The House voted to re-open the government and pay federal workers. Mitch McConnell won't even let the Senate vote on that.
