Dems Refuse to Vote On Record for THEIR OWN "ABOLISH ICE" Bill

They are confused...

The younger new Democrats want the party to go full bore open borders and be honest about it.

The old guard Democrats also want the party to go full bore open borders but they want to continue to lie about it.

 

I think Pelosi & Schumer just want amnesty / citizenship for the 11 million they've already imported. They're confident those represent enough DNC voters to keep them in office. The millennials that make up the vast majority of illegals aren't fans of the "old guard" so it makes sense to curb the influx once, and if they regain the majority. Look for Dems to agree to build the wall in exchange for DACA amnesty if they win the house. It ingraciates them with illegals they've already indoctorinated, and prevents millennial progressive opposition from unseating them.

 

They are not honest people. Everything they do is a shortsighted scheme, a stunt, a scam, a political calculation, expedience in the interest of obtaining and maintaining the necessary power to 'fundamentally transform' the US into a centrally ruled European-styled welfare state...where natural rights we Americans hold most dear aren't even officially recognized, much less protected.

I don't know if the Democrats will be able to keep the millennials and illegal immigrant Nationals in their party down. They are going to scream and cry for open borders. Not sure who will come out on top but it will probably be the Millennials and their International partners.

 

No ... you'll see an immediate about-face on open bordeers once illegals already here and given citizenship decide that entitlements are only for US citizens. :: They won't want to share the benefits they "earned" by supporting the democratic plantation all these years.

The Heritage Foundation was talking about STREAMLINING the two, not ABOLISHING EITHER, but the DHS determined that BORDER SECURITY and INTERIOR ENFORCEMENT, were not the same job.

The Democrats have already shown they don't give a damn about Dreamers when they refused the terms given. It's never been about humanitarianism, it's always been about control and political power. I remember when INS use to do this type of work, before we got fear mongered by the Patriot Act into creating 90,000 new different agencies and privacy infringements.

What is funny is that INS was part of the Dept Of Justice and the Dept of Labor because for some strange reason, people thought illegal immigrants affected labor markets - what was even crazier was that people even thought that going after employers was a solution to stemming illegal immigration -- boy that was a silly thought.

Everyone knows that you don't stop illegal immigration by going after the people/corps who hire them and purposely keep wages low. /sarcasm off
