Again, I don't know where your wife works where ass-grabbing is acceptable. If she is older and was working in the 60s, 70s, 80s she is absolutely right. Ass-grabbing was acceptable behavior - often experienced by women when traveling in Italy or France. The depictions of mashing in a TV series like Mad Men is accurate. If you are an old movie buff, you will see plenty of it written right into the script by Hollywood for the audience's entertainment and emulation. It was the norm, and women's reactions to it ranged the following: a stinging slap across the perp's face (also an acceptable norm), immediate escape and forget-about-it, defensive dressing, or a giggle. Men, not all but some, felt entitled to be fresh.

Do you see how far we have come in a single generation?

Looking backward into the past and condemning it through today's newly gained enlightenment is called "PRESENTISM". It is a form of ignorance and a dismissal of our human, behavioral history. If you think that presentism is valid, then you must also believe should condemn today's Mexicans for Aztec atrocities.

Carrying around memories of occurrences that were deemed common if not normal at the time is the behavior of a kook. And ginning up rage for past behaviors is a tactic used by the Left to gain power at other people's expense.

I have held Hollywood accountable for years. Just go to Fandango and see what's playing in your local theaters. You don't even have to read the synopsis, just look at the dark and creepy-violent photos. I am not alone, we all saw that Hollywood coming out for politicians produced failure. Obama made a trip every month to Hollywood to community organize. Literally, heads of studios and production-related companies "organize" their employees to go out and do Lefty campaign work. It's out in the open and considered as normal as ass-grabbing in the 50s. If the employee demurs, they feel their job is threatened. Now Obama is involved in production - or brain washing depending on your view of reality.

 

Please draw that statement up as a timeline.

How about his sentencing?
Did he even offer compensation?

And since you ask the question, "who" -- look in the mirror. How much attention did you give the girlfriend of Kieth Ellison, or how loudly did you protest his continued office? How often do you post on this forum condemnation of the of Democrat pervs, or in defense of their victims? You ignore it everyday. With the new Leftist ilk feminism is not a true belief, it's a source of self-titillation and a sham used to attack opponents.

Actually the intelligent have a thirst for knowledge. It drives them to education, to learn. The dull don't have that motivation.

 

Yes, but years of schooling doe's not make one more intelligent and many intelligent people can't afford to go to school. They may learn it on their own without going to school, which would make them uneducated but still intelligent.
A piece of parchment doesn't increase your intelligence level although the Scarecrow thought so.
Intelligence and education are two separate things.

 

I tend to agree. In order for your complaints to be worthy of support from society, they must be primarily legitimate and believable. There will never be total justice in our system for anything, but we only make it worse when we allow claims to upset the process just because they are claims.
