I'm trying to figure out the logic of your post. It's a crime to come into America at a location that is not a port of entry which is where many of these people are coming from. It's only after they're apprehended that they claim asylum. But that doesn't change the fact that many of them committed a crime in the first place. Additionally, nothing is saying that we have to give people a free ride into America. We could hold them and give them virtual hearings or force them to wait in the first safe country they arrived from like most nations in the world do and just as we did under Trump. We know the majority of asylum claims are illegitimate and will be denied. The current regime has purposefully created a tragedy at the border for political reasons, and it's disgusting. They know that having a common sense approach to immigration curbs illegal immigration dramatically, and the new policies they've put in place have a clear and expected result. The sad part of this is that people are dying on their trips, women and children are being raped, drugs are flowing killing tons of Americans, and the administration does nothing while claiming success.

For starters, he ended the remain in Mexico policy, stopped wall development (though I think there is so much heat on him now building is going to resume), opened Obama's kids in cages again, attacked border patrol agents falsely accusing them of whipping criminals invading our country... that's stuff I know without even doing a search. And you likely know them too.

And what did DeSantis do that is bad? He sent 50 of them to one of the wealthiest per capita communities on Earth, which have some 100,000 empty bed rooms at any given time, particularly at the end of Summer. The people of MV acted horribly, calling the military to remove the 50 of them. These people with "no human is illegal" signs on their front lawn showed their true colors. That, and nothing else, is the story here.

 

What was bad? $600,000 to fly 50 people, one way. Where are my fellow conservative spending people? I’m pretty sure you would see the problem if a D did it.

Doesn't change the fact that they committed a crime. This isn't hard. Also, you can apply for asylum at any US embassy. You don't have to pay a cartel to smuggle you through a hole in a fence for that. Asylum globally is generally treated as the first safe country. Only American Democrats think it's cool for people to asylum shop to their preferred country in the world for economic advancement over safety. If they were voting for Republicans in the future they'd send the military in to protect the border like they do their white neighborhoods.

The only information we have is that they paid $600K to a contractor. That was likely a contract fee and not a flight fee. Liberal wackadoos are doing what they do.

Jesus and his friends just got their asses hauled out of MV and sent to a military base. Why didn’t Biden or Obama make arrangements to get them work in MV? We’ve all seen the job postings, MV could have done more than take selfies with the illegals before picking up the phone and declaring an emergency which resulted with the NG removing (kidnapping) them the next day. Twice the mayor of DC has called for the NG and was denied. MV got immediate results. You can’t tell me strings weren’t pulled to get the brown people off of Mayonnaise Island.

Spending a little now to draw attention to the disastrous border which might get people to vote correctly (ie those that will enact policy that actually secures the border) is one of the most fiscally responsible things you could be doing right now.

I could have had the same level of PR, but gotten them $500/each on a one way ticket. Very telling that you approve incredibly wasteful spending of taxpayer dollars on, what you perceive, to be a good cause. I support good causes, but without tolerance for enrichment level wasteful spending. I do not care about the party, I care about value for my tax dollar.

It’s super easy to be non hypocritical. Just act as if you are equally levels of pleased or disgusted by the same behavior, regardless of laundry color.
