Here is the proof that he wanted the riot: He didn't call it off until it had failed. In fact he was egging them on about Pence at about the same time Pence was being rushed to safety.

And when he did call it off, they left. But that was over 2 hours after the attack started. Why wasn't he tweeting up a storm trying to stop them? He was too busy cheering them on in front of witnesses at the WH.

 

I hope these witnesses testify, because that's the only thing that'll change my opinion on this debacle.

 

It is useless even trying to talk to trumpers. I only argue for anyone who is riding the line and reading. But more than that, I want them to know that they will never live this down. They are marked for life. And we will never forget what they did.

It's like discovering that if you leave your gun lying around, your friend will try to pick it up and shoot you. Then when you wrestle the gun away, he asks if we can just move on now and be friends again. Yeah, that ship has sailed. Not everyone who voted for Trump(or even most people who voted for Trump) were at the site of the Capitol during the riots and over 85% of Americans disavow what happened at the Capitol.

 

It was 3 months of incitement with the invitation for everyone to gather 1/6 in DC

However, I know you need to keep up your Trump delusions, so keep on focusing on just what he said on 1/6. It is cute how Trump was cheering on the insurrection though - such a patriot

You must acknowledge, as well, that their reason for being in the Capitol that day was specifically because of TRUMP'S INVITATION, actually his exhorting people to show up..."It's gonna be wild!" And the time of the Trump speech/rally, coinciding with the official counting of electoral votes, was also no one's choice other than Trump, himself. But you see no cause-&-effect relationship? One can only hope that you aren't a detective.

Let's wait to see the final vote. If he is acquitted, then my opinion is all that matters and the only one that is correct. If he is found guilty, then I suppose my opinion is incorrect!
