By selling them to qualified dealers that will resell them only after a FBI background check.

And many other people do care.

That's what many gun buyers are doing, AR-15s or not.

I wouldn't call them anti-gun...they are just crass opportunists pandering to a political segment of the population.

Is that not infringing the rights of others who want to sell them?

Under the second amendment, who has the right to bear arms?

Do they still sell baseball bats? Do any "sane" people care about human life or reducing violence?

The part in bold is exactly the point, Fresh.

Dick's is engaging in blatant and gross discrimination.

    It cant be tolerated.

They will eventually suffer a legal remedy for their discrimination but until then they can suffer a financial one as customers will take their money elsewhere.

We have rights, they are very clear, Dicks chose to side with the bigot mob and deny those rights to certain people and that move has consequences.

No. As there is no law that compels a manufacturer to sell a product to everyone but you already knew that didn't you?

In so many word, you didn't. You DID say that banning the AR-15 wouldn't solve gun deaths since it's involved in less than 1% of them so I thought you WOULD be for banning the gun that is responsible for the most because that would seem to be logical. I was wrong, you don't want to do anything. Got it.

Well the point that was made is the AR is responsible for less than 1% of gun deaths so banning it would do nothing so logically I thought the poster would be for banning the gun responsible for the most gun deaths. It would seem that that would actually be doing something.
    Don't you agree?

Who would of thunk, have less of a product selection and sales would go down?

So you have no answer for the problem.
Of course, you're for "freedom" and let the bodies fall where they may. Doing nothing is always best when faced with tough decisions. You would fit well in Washington.

Answer to what gun violence as whole?
    School shootings?
    Gang Violence?
    Suicides?

What one would you like to discuss? I will be back tomorrow should give you plenty of time to actually think of way to contribute instead of just attacking people.

Seeing that all your subjects have a common denominator (which, by the way is the subject of the thread) I don't see why you want to dance around the problem.
I didn't "attack" you , just pointed out your reluctance to answer the question.

They aren't, as it's not a fault of their equipment...it's people making bad choices.

The tool isn't sentient, and once a person buys one it's up to them to decide how it used, not the gun companies.

You think Rahm has the answer? He didn't mention it last night over brandy.
It's obvious that YOU don't have a solution.

Nope...he is as wrong headed on this issue as are you.

Criminals murder; inanimate objects do not.

I guess we should ban cars and swimming pools, based on the number of deaths both are involved in....

You're absolutely right, the equipment performed exactly as it was made to so that COULDN'T be the problem. It would seem the people made the right choice.
