In our day and age, warped might just be the same as being normal.

What is warped is when people are made heroes because they armed themselves and took over a government building. What is warped is when people are somehow shocked that when these lunatics are driving around, still armed of course, and ignoring the orders of the police, that it doesn't turn out well for them in the end. Why was that man even running? Why was he carrying a gun when he had WEEKS to prepare for what was hardly a surprising outcome? These lunatics driving all over the place, pretending they aren't fugitives from the law, armed, and then he runs when the cops get them out of the vehicle. That man died of pure stupidity. If it wasn't the lead from the bullet, it couldn't have been long before the lead from the paint chips he must have been eating steadily became the end of him.

Those men are damn lucky that their irresponsible reckless behavior only resulted in one of them getting killed. They should be ashamed of their idiotic behavior and I hope they spend quite a few years behind bars.

I watched the video … Had the thug-mobile been "riddled with bullets" there would have been glass, fragments, etc., flying … No such thing happened ...

Any actual evidence of a bullet riddled suv

    Btw
It seems clear the driver fled a traffic stop
Then attempted to evade a road block
    Nearly killing an officer
Then had time to exit the suv unharmed
And was only shot when he lowered his hands in a way that was consistent with going for a gun
.... Many people have been shot for much less

    I agree.

It's amazing how so many wildly different accounts are posted by a group of people who have all watched the exact same video.

Your blood lust aside. Who have Cliven Bundy and his like hurt, killed, or maimed?
Last time I checked, being armed is a constitutional right. Did you forget that fact?

"There's some yokles out in the wilderness occupying a federal shack, better get our guns and kill em all.!!!!"

Like I sad, boot lickers are gonna lick boots.

You know what is not a right? Resisting arrest, taking over government property, endangering police. Some of you guys are as bad as the BLM folks.

Armed people who forcefully take over a building aren't exactly folks you would think of as non-violent and not dangerous. Cliven Bundy wasn't there so he doesn't have anything to do with this, although his turn in the spotlight didn't do anything towards bolstering the honor and integrity of that family.

The only reason this didn't end the way it did sooner is because the building wasn't really being used at the time. If that had been a post office, or a bank, or any building in use or in a community, this would have ended long ago, probably not much differently than it did. With guns.
Using your firearms in the commission of a crime is not a constitutional right.

Yes, they certainly are aren't they....

Is it "your" government"? Isn't what all parties in the Presidential contest are running on is that the govt is run by "crony capitalists", "Wall Street", political lobbies, billionaires? Isn't that why outsiders are doing so well?

In October 2013, during the fiscal/budget debate, who shut down the national parks, scenic lookouts by the side of the road that cost no money to operate, and national memorials - even private ones not operated on govt funds? The govt shut them down. In some cases, people forced them open such as the WW2 vets in wheelchairs who pushed the temporary barricades out of the way so they could see the WW2 memorial.

And just try entering any of those properties which the govt manages on your behalf, particularly out West.

    Cliven Bundy was arrested Thurs.

    http://www.oregonlive.com/oregon-standoff/2016/02/nevada_rancher_cliven_bundy_de.htm

From linked article: "....Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy arrested by FBI in Portland..........Cliven Bundy, the Nevada rancher who touched off one armed showdown with federal authorities and applauded another started in Oregon by his sons, was arrested late Wednesday at Portland International Airport and faces federal charges related to the 2014 standoff at his ranch.........

.......He faces a conspiracy charge to interfere with a federal officer -- the same charge lodged against two of his sons, Ammon and Ryan, for their role in the Jan. 2 takeover of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge in Burns. He also faces weapons charges........

...........The Bundy patriarch had traveled to Portland with plans to go on to Burns, where four occupiers had been the remaining holdouts of the refuge occupation......

Bundy has been under federal scrutiny since his ranch standoff with the U.S. Bureau of Land Management. He has not paid grazing fees on federal land and he owes the agency $1 million in unpaid fees and penalties. He and militia supporters confronted federal agents who had impounded Bundy's cattle that were found on federal property.
To avoid bloodshed, the federal agents retreated and Bundy's supporters turned loose the cattle.

Some of the key participants in that standoff helped orchestrate the wildlife refuge occupation, including Ammon and Ryan Bundy. They are both in custody in Portland.

Another key participant in the Nevada showdown was Ryan Payne, a Montana militiaman who helped organize militia snipers to take aim at federal agents in Nevada. Payne is considered the tactician behind the Oregon takeover and also has been arrested and faces a federal conspiracy charges.....They were arrested along with several others Jan. 26 as they traveled to a meeting in a neighboring county......

..........Cliven Bundy's arrest came as the Oregon refuge takeover seemed headed for a finish. The last four occupiers, who have camped alone since Jan. 28 at the headquarters compound, agreed Wednesday night to surrender in the morning. They did so after FBI tactical teams infiltrated refuge buildings undetected overnight Tuesday and into Wednesday. The FBI then hemmed in the occupiers with armored vehicles and negotiated with them for five hours to reach the surrender agreement...."

ALSO, "Occupation spokesman Robert "LaVoy" Finicum was shot and killed by state police at the stop. He was carrying a loaded 9mm handgun and refused to follow police commands, the FBI said."

Clive has been denied bail …
Apparently the judge doesn't believe that he will show up for court proceedings if he is set free …

The "free range" days for the Bundy thugs … are over ...

These "low life's" deserve nothing from anyone. They are like the "old west times", ride in and take control and demand they are the "righteous" ones. If I were any Officer of the Law, and some crackpot appears to go for a hidden gun (btw, he carried a Colt 45 on his hip) he better be quicker than I, as he's going to get the "Dirty Harry" treatment..."make my day." Yes, the Federal Judge did the right thing, keep ol' Bundy in behind bars.
