Consider, there is absolutely no evidence that Hitler died in Berlin in April 1945. A portion of cranium claimed to be Hitler's and held in Russian archives has been tested and found to be of female origin. The FBI has case documentation that Hitler was seen in various locations after WWII, especially Spain and various locales in S. America. Even Stalin believed that Hitler escaped Germany. At the end of WWII SMERSH, the precursor of the KGB, claimed to have recovered Hitler and Braun's bodies, both partially burned, placed the remains in ammunimtion crates and buried the crates under a parking lot at the SMERSH headquarters in Magdeburg Germany. The claim states that just prior to German reunification the crates were disinterred, the remains cremated and the ashes disposed of in a tributary of the Elba River. But there is no evidence that this occured. Did Hitler escape Germany? What are your thoughts? Cheers, Jason Bourne
There were the eye witness testimonies of the people in the bunker who attended to Hitlers body, that would be considered as strong evidence in a court of law. We also know that Hitler's reaction to defeat had been to consider suicide, as he did after the failed Beer Hall Pusch. There is no evidence that Hitler survived however.
No one, not one person, saw Adolph Hitler commit suicide. Also bear in mind that Hitler had body doubles. There is no evidence that Hitler committed suicide in the bunker and yet there were documented sightings (FBI reports) of Hitler in Spain and S. America. How do you explain those sightings? Cheers, Jason Bourne
We have the testimonies of those who were in the bunker, short of actually seeing him put a gun in his mouth, we know all that occurred. So there is plenty of evidence that he committed suicide, that you choose to ignore it does not make it any less a fact. He had the motive to kill himself after hearing how Mussolini's body had been hung upside down from a lamp post.
Whose testimony and why is that testimony credible? And what is the physical evidence that Hitler killed himself. Not conjecture, physical evidence. Thank you. Cheers, Jason Bourne
I am sure if you have researched this you will of read the written testimonies, if not look for them yourself they are very easy to find. I have not suggested physical evidence, but if you have any physical evidence he survived, I would love to see it.
Honestly...I was one of those who would have thought that Hitler was found dead in a ditch, covered in petrol. Then I saw a documentary that made me wonder if he managed to get out after all. In the documentary, they mentioned that the first time we knew that he was supposedly dead came from German radio transmissions. When we finally got to the bunker, we found one of Hitler's body doubles (and not a very good one at that) lying dead in a ditch. It was the Soviets that had managed to find the burned remains that they took back to Moscow. Recently, American scientists were given a chance to try and extract DNA from the bone fragments they took back. Only one of the remains were able to give up viable DNA. It was for a female about 45 years old. DNA Age Determination has a margin of error of +\- 3 years. So this female was between 45 and 48 years of age. Eva was 33 at the time of her death so DNA Age Determination would have given a reading somewhere between 30 and 36 years of age. So we can be reasonably certain that whomever the Soviets found was not Eva. And that does lend some more plausibility that Hitler was not the other charred corpse the Soviets found. The documentary speculates that in the final days of the war, they could have put in some body doubles for Hitler and Eva and smuggled the real ones out. Anyone serving at the bunker wouldn't have known that they weren't the real ones as they doubles were likely instructed to keep to themselves. Anyone tending to the needs of the doubles wouldn't really get a chance to get a good look at them. Then at the end when it was all going to heck, someone who was in on the plan was instructed to kill the doubles, toss their bodies in a ditch and have them burned so they couldn't be recognized and then told everyone that Hitler and Braun offed themselves. None of it is real evidence (apart from the DNA of a woman too old to be Eva)...but it does lend plausibility and casts reasonable doubts. In the end though it's a moot point. Hitler was born in 1889. Even if he did make it out he's sodding dead by now.
I saw a documentary about Hitler's body. Stalin was paranoid. He had Hitler's body examined, and dental records confirmed it was him. They also confirmed that the body only had one testicle, as did Hitler (imagine if he had two!!). If Stalin was convinced, I think that's pretty good proof that Schiklegruber is toast.
"I remember that he said goodbye in the corridor and went into the rooms. He said he didn't want to be disturbed. I don't know how long it took, maybe one hour, maybe two. I didn't hear the shots myself because I was working on the telephones. But then I heard someone shout 'Linge, Linge, I think it has happened.' (Heinz Linge was Hitler's servant). We waited maybe 20 minutes. Then we opened the door to his office and the one to the living room. Hitler was sitting at the table, slumped forward, and Eva Braun was lying next to him. It wasn't a surprise. The commanders had all wanted to evacuate Hitler, but he said no, he was staying in Berlin." http://www.dw.com/en/the-last-witness-recalls-i-saw-hitler-dead/a-1569764
