Instead of treating the multitudinous symptoms, we should be remedying the source of the symptoms! The immutable laws of supply and demand apply to healthcare access, quality of care, wages, crime, social services etc. etc. More individuals taking out of the 'pot' than putting in is deleterious to every 'symptom' that we are facing as a society.
