You agreed with me. Less than 27% of registered voters voted for Trump. And Trump is one of the few Presidents who couldn't win both the Electoral College and the popular vote. Why would that embarrass me?

Yup, but of the 55.7% that actually voted in the election! Sooo, Trump receive just under half the total votes cast in the 2016 election.. What you conveniently forgot to add was Hillyhag only received 26.8% :) So it begs the question, what was your point?

My point is that Trump received less than 27% of registered votes and wasn't able to win both the Electoral Collage AND the popular vote as MOST Presidents have done. Trump doesn't inspire. He was the beneficiary of the anti-Hillary non-votes.
Obama inspired 7 million more voters to come out for him in his first try.

My point is there are millions of voters who are not as emotionally invested in Trump as you are.

I have a friend, a former teacher, who voted for Trump. After assiduously avoiding the subject of politics for years her vote came up the other day. She said she couldn't vote for Hillary because she hated her. I asked why. She struggled to explain the source of her hatred. She finally mentioned how Hillary had enabled Bill's behavior with women like Lewinsky. I asked her if she was bothered by Don's infidelities and his payments to the two women to secure their silence before the election. Her reply, "well Hillary is just despicable." Trump isn't, I asked. "I can't explain it," she said, "I just hate Hillary." And so it goes.

Warren is probably the most likely candidate to appeal to Progressives who are the key to 2020 IMO.

That said I still like Yang but his low name recognition and lack of experience are handicaps that we don't need against the BLOTUS in 2020.

The endless GOP attacks on Hillary took their toll and it was amazing that she did as well she did under those circumstances.

While I would have preferred having her in the Oval office the downside would have been that the Establishment would have continued to stripmine the middle class.

With the BLOTUS instead the Progressives have been given the motivation they need to actually make the changes to the DP that We the People sorely needed. Yes, the Establishment Dems are not handing over power without a fight but they have been giving ground on virtually every issue and the smarter ones have figured out the time for change has come and are embracing it.

Hillary is history so it is time to move forward and work together to take back our nation from the forces that are destroying it.
