For example, it was an "honest gun owner" who went nuts in Las Vegas with his AR and high capacity magazines. There are some toys that little American boys shouldn't have.

As with all other areas of life, there are no guarantees either one way or the other. As such one cannot demand they be provided with a guarantee that something bad will not happen down the line. Therefore there is no point in demanding further firearm-related restrictions.
