Disney is set to rank among WORST-PERFORMING stocks in 2022 as company prepares to be stripped of it

I used to like Marvel movies… We shall see. Didn’t care much for the eternals though

They opened their mouths and spoke out against Desantis, so he said fine, less freebies for you. You’re acting like Desantis started this. He didn’t do anything to Disney. Disney picked a fight and lost. FL didn’t do anything wrong, but Disney certainly sided against families and children. You agree with drag queens reading books to kids or teachers talking sex with kids and hiding it from parents? You don’t have kids so grooming maybe sounds cool to you. For those of us with kids, that’s horrifying!!!

I could see them doing it just out of spite - in fact, ESPECIALLY outta spite. We're talking about the government here - under any party, it's pretty much a protection racket at best.

Lotsa things aren't illegal but have consequences. Try throwing out racial slurs. You won't get arrested, but you will lose your job. There really is no winning against the government. Heck, even the Joker won't take them on:

Disney has been fumbling for years now. The newest Star Wars trilogy was an abomination. Light year sucks. The Obi Wan Kenobi show is OK. Long gone are the days of the Lion King (the reboot sucked) and all the wholesome classics.

Now is a good time to buy DIS while it's tanking - but the thing is, it never shoulda tanked in the first place. Most of this could have been avoided - I mean, are you overlooking that Disney has completely misread its base here? Even a noob CEO coulda seen this coming. I think the long-term implications here are grim. The Archangels at DIS may be as woke as you can get, but the customer base isn't. It's gonna cost them and it's not as if DIS has some kinda monopoly on entertainment out there. Customers will leave and the whole point is keeping the ones you have while bringing in more.

I also think you should really think about the implications of Disney's characters and the change to their copyright status. I can tell you right now they are EXTREMELY jealous of how Mickey is drawn right off the top. I've mentioned working there when I was going to college. Something that usually happens around may-June are the Canoe Races, where every department fields at least two or three teams in order to win the big trophy that year. You have departments making their own shirts but if they draw Disney characters, they get disqualified, even if there's an artist on the team who can really draw. What ends up happening is someone will draw the art they want, it'll get sent over to the Animation department at the nearby studios, and they redraw it so that it meets company specs. They won't even let cast members draw 'em. It's kinda nuts.

 

Don't even know how far that dip will go or how many years it will take to turn it around.
Think I'll put my money in preforming stocks.

And Disney is being punished by the people far more than FL. Get woke go broke. But it’ll take a while for some. Disney is maybe learning from the **** they’ve been producing lately.
